Sometimes you just want basic white bath towels that feel comfortable, work well, and don’t cost a fortune, and these honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. I’ve bought a lot of budget towels over the years that felt thin, scratchy, or seemed to stop absorbing water after a few washes, but these have been surprisingly soft and comfortable right out of the package. What I like most is that they strike a really good balance between softness and practicality. They’re lightweight enough to dry quickly, which helps prevent that damp towel smell, but they still feel substantial enough to actually enjoy using after a shower. The cotton feels nice against the skin and they absorb water much better than some of the ultra-cheap towels I’ve tried in the past. I also appreciate the simple clean look. The white color and subtle border detailing make them look much more polished than “budget towels,” and they fit well in both a home bathroom and guest setup. We’ve washed them multiple times already and they’ve held up well without unraveling seams or losing their softness. These are not ultra-thick luxury hotel towels, but honestly I think that’s part of why I like them. They dry faster, take up less room, and feel more practical for everyday use while still being comfortable. For the price, this feels like one of those rare Amazon Basics products that genuinely punches above its weight. Simple, soft, absorbent, and exactly what most people probably want from an everyday bath towel.

These towels are perfect just what I wanted. Do you know how hard it is to find towels these days that are solid white from end to end without any ribbing or decorations on each end of the towel? Very hard. These towels are smooth end to end which I love and is a must. I also like the size. They aren’t those huge oversized towels they are the normal size bath towels. The dry quickly. Work really well. So far they have held up in the washer and dryer. I’ve only purchased the white so I can’t say anything about the colored ones. They look great. Not super thick. More on the thinner side but honestly, they don’t need to be any thicker to get the job done. The price is great too! I recommend!

These towels are soft and amazing

I had gotten these for one purpose only - to use with handwashing. Roll the sweater in a white towel, put it out to dry on my new super-duper drying rack. Simple. Nothing special required, no expectations other than basic cotton towels. Cheap. White. Who cares, right? So imagine my surprise when these turned out to be nicer than expected - so much so, in fact, that they got promoted to potential shower towel, and then that worked out so well, I'm now using them daily. I've dumped my much thicker and not wearing well Turkish towels, and they got the new handwashing gig. I'll be using these for showering to see how they hold up, but a few weeks in, a few washes behind them, and they're worthy of a positive review. UPDATED TO ADD: I decided to get the green ones since they were on super sale. Same towel, should be as good, and I don't use towels for bathroom decor, so I don't care (as much) about what color they are (I don't do dark towels ever - many reasons). I'd describe the green as a grey-green, not unpleasant, but if you do care about the color, be aware that these are nothing close to a warm green. It also darkened a bit after washing, go figure, and it definitely needed to be washed before use. The biggest issue with these latest towels is the amount of shedding from one gentle soak (to get rid of odor) and then a gentle wash. Yowza! It looked like someone washed a green yak in there. The white towels didn't shed at all this way, so I was totally unprepared for my newest washer pet. I had stupidly added some other small pieces in with the towels. BIG MISTAKE. Now they're covered in what looks like green yak fur, too. The towels did come out just as fluffy and usable as the white ones, so not changing the rating, but caveat emptor - expect shedding, wash these alone at least once, and do NOT wash them with anything else.

I suppose they are almost same price, being 6pc towel set is cheaper quality. I would love to pay more to have this towel as a part of 6 pc towel set. I will keep both set, but I know which towel I will use more often than other already.

I love the color and softness. We wouldn't buy again because the fuzz and fluff is everywhere - we've washed them at least 3 times but the towels still shed. I'm willing to try another color from this brand in case it has to do with the blue dye.

I liked these Amazon Basics bath towels. They absorb water very well and work nicely for everyday use after a shower or bath. The size is also good, and the white color looks clean and simple. The towel feels a little thin, but that was not a major issue for me. It still does its job well, and I actually like that it dries faster than heavier towels. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. It is a good basic towel set, absorbs water well, and is worth the value for regular home use.

I just opened the plastic wrapping and these towels literally smell like crap. Like fecal. Horrible! They also feel cheap like they are not entirely cotton but mixed with some type of synthetic and they look like they will fall apart easy. Like towels you would use on your dog. I put them in the wash to see if the smell comes out, but if not they are going back!

When I got them they stink like vomit but after I washed it the towels smell nice. Also a lot of fabric comes out of them in the dryer so don't put it in the dryer. I like these towels. They're soft and inexpensive. I will buy some more 👍
