I bought a set. Does anyone know where I can find detailed instructions to go with the set?

The set provises a standard to compare your work with. Take a picture of the standard and compare your results with the standard.I have a Canon DSLR. The manual has detailed instructions to calibrate the focusing of each different lens and registration in the body software, of the lens thereof. Very useful to me. Although the Canon and most any interchangeable lens focusing is already suitable for many I am more than fussy about my prints. The use of the "set" allows me to assure all but perfect focusing with the resulting improvement in quality. The detaled instructions for the uses of the set are onlline. I believe the search words are " calibration lens digital ". I know there are instructions for Canon, Nikon and perhaps others.

At How much distance should i put this chart from camera to measure resolution?

I use 4 feet as a minimum distance

Is the grey background on the sheet the same grey color as a grey card?

No. The background color is not intended to be used as a gray card.

What are the xyz, lab, hsl, or hsv coordinates of the color wheels and ramps?
