This was a direct replacement for a customers leaking unit. The last one was on for years and still works, but leaks from the rear. Silicone would probably fix the leak, so we are keeping it as backup. It's a little more work to install than a normal water pump switch, but some pumps don't come with a 1/4 inch port for a standard switch. So this is a good option for the price.

My broken pressure pump

I had to replace a Torrium 2 pump controller that had failed due to freezing weather I suppose. They cost around $250 so I decided to try this pump controller. I have only used it for a couple of weeks now, but so far it has not missed a beat. If it even works for 2 years it will be a good purchase. Update: This controller failed after about 2 months. I contacted the seller and he replaced the unit free of charge, not even shipping costs. I would recommend this seller for your purchases of this type.

Have had this running for several weeks, works just as advertised. Pressure might be a little high, but you can restrict the flow, or put a triac on the motor for that. Have bought three, in every case the box arrived damaged to the point where the PO added tape and put notices on them. Other than that, I'm fully satisfied.
