I am 5' 3'' and weigh 116 lbs. The small fit me just right. The skirt is an rayon blend and not polyester, but it is very attractive. It has a nice soft silky feel to it. Shorter women can adjust the length easily. I just pull the skirt up to the length that I want and put a thin belt around my waist. Then fold the skirt down over the belt and pin it on either side just below the belt. It stays perfectly in place and is very comfortable. I wanted this skirt longer and so I left it long. For reference I’m around 5’10, mostly legs, weigh 200 pounds and carry my weight in my tummy. With the waist band folded down it hit the top of my ankles. With it completely unfolded it went from my belly button down to my feet. (If you are short the band can easily be folded down for a shorter length) The material is a somewhat shiny almost swimsuit like material. I typically prefer the look of cotton but this skirts length is so hard to find I can handle the material lol I wore this around Disney and I never found it hot or uncomfortable. It fit well, didn’t stretch out during the day and was very comfortable. I ordered a size xl and I found it to be a perfect fit.
