Tailor made Sill Protectors to fit VW Tiguan Mk2 TDi (2016 Onward) The Mk2 Tiguan can be distinguished from the Mk1 by a crease along the side of the car in-line with the door handles, as highlighted in the picture above (the Mk1 has a crease above the handles, if you have a Mk1 see our other listings). Made from Solid Stainless Steel. The plates are engraved as shown. They come already backed with powerful, automotive grade adhesive tape, and easy to follow instructions. They can be fitted in minutes but will look good for the lifetime of your car. They have a polished finish. Any dark areas that may be seen on the surface of the sill plates in the photographs are just reflections of dark areas in the vicinity of the sill plates at the time of the photograph. The paintwork on your Sills is being kicked & scuffed daily, by you and your passengers. Protect them with these hand-crafted Sill Protectors. These are not just flat plates, they have a radius and a downwards leg, so they will protect not only the upper surface, but also the corner of the paintwork, which is gets most of the kicks.
