You have to pinch it to get the air in. This worked amazing for my little 10 lb dog who was dwarfed by the cone of shame. Super fast shipping, too. I would definitely recommend this over the old method. My poor dog couldn't get through a doorway without hitting the edge of a plastic cone and bouncing back.This is a great menthod to keep a dog from licking.
