Summerbee Sea Buckthorn Cream 60mls

I bought some of this as I suffer from roscaea, which is a reddening of the face, in particular the nose in my case. I kind of lok like Rudolph all year round, a combination of allergies and just basic bad luck. In winter my nose fair glows it's that red. And thus I came to read about the benefits of Sea Buckthorn cream. And bought some. At worst, I expected it to simply give me a more moisturised nose and chin (that suffers too but not as bad) and at best, a result. I have been using this cream for several weeks (once a day, when I remember) and it has actually worked! Ok, my nose is still slightly red, but it is far less glowy red, the capillaries are not so evident, and it is much less sore to the touch. My nose is indeed as moisturised as I thought it would be, but the reddening is much less than it was, and I am duly impressed. I think if I was more routined about using it and used it more, then the results may have been faster, but I am old and rather haphazard with these things, hence the delay. The cream itself is a pleasant smell, not at all chemically, and although I havebeen in and out of the jar a lot of times, there is hardly any gone at all, which means that this will last me quite some time. Excellent value for money in my opinion! So try some, you won't regret it, and see if it works as well for you!

I discovered I have rosacea a few months ago, I suffer more with pimples and lumps than redness really. I was prescribed some rosex cream by the doctor which didn't help me at all. I decided to give the sea buckthorn cream a try as I had a particularly spotty outbreak before Christmas and was very down about my skin. I ordered a pot of this cream and it arrived 2 days later. I used some and the following day my skin looked much better and felt smoother. I have now been using this cream for about 2 weeks, maybe once or twice a day and I would say my skin is about 95% better. I really can't believe how well it has worked. I get the occasional pimple, but nothing compared to how my skin was before. I'm really happy, and think I will order a larger pot so I don't run out! It is nice to be using something natural on my skin, although it has a subtle smell, it is not too unpleasant and the benefits outweigh this. I have been doing a bit of reading about sea buckthorn, and it seems there are many health benefits and it has been widely used for lots of different medicinal purposes. If you are suffering with rosacea pimples I would definitely recommend giving this cream a try, as it is a reasonable price for a pot which will last a while.

I bought this cream as it was meant to help fade broken veins. I have used it twice a day for 3 weeks now and see no difference whatsoever! It is however softening to the skin & a nice smooth cream A pot of nivea may have done the same job for a fraction of the price. I wouldn't recommend it for what I bought it for

I bought this based on reviews for clearing problem skin, specifically rosacea. After a month there is no discernible difference, however it is a good moisturiser and would recommend it just as that. While it appears to have had great results for others, in my experience and opinion be realistic about what can be achieved. Would buy again as a day moisturiser.

I have had rosacea for the past few years, I take long term antibiotics and use a medicated cream but found I was getting flare ups of severe redness across my cheeks, so much so my face felt like it was burning. I did some research and felt the reviews were so good on this cream I should try it. I've just finished my first pot. Initially I thought it hadn't made much difference but looking back I have not had a single flare up since using this. My cheeky are still "rosy" I guess they always will be with rosacea, but no more "you look hot" comments! This also is a great moisturiser on the areas affects by rosacea which anyone who has it knows get very very dry and irritable. I've just made another order and will continue to use this great cream. I don't think this is a miracle cure (well not for me) but over a good few months of use has made a difference.

Expected a lot from this product, having read all the reviews here. Used the product for a good few months - zero effect. It does act like a moisturiser, but that's not what you buy this cream for.

I've been looking for a cream or some kind of cover to disguise my rosacea. My face gets very red and hot and I blush a lot. One of the effects of a hot face is that my skin gets very dry and I've been looking for a cream to help. I spent hour researching looking for green tinted make-up as none of the creams I'd used previously could moisturise my face long enough. I read the reviews of this cream and I must admit I was sceptical but with a price tag of under £10 I thought I would give it a try. I'm really glad I did. I was a bit unsure at first as some of the reviews said that sometimes the cream stings when first applied. I can definitely say this is not the case at least for me and my skin is hypersensitive. My face is not as hot, the redness has completely gone and my skin looks really healthy. I am amazed at how fast this cream worked and the positive effect it has had on my skin. The cream is lovely to apply and a little goes a long way, my skin feels really calm and not irritated at all. I can't recommend this product enough, and I definitely will be buying more. In the past I have had antibiotics for long periods of time, jars of cream which claim all kinds. All I can say is I'm really glad I stumbled upon this cream, I've only been using it for one week and the results are unbelievable. My skin feels really moisturised and I can now wear makeup without worrying that my skin will crack due to dry skin. I'm not a person who usually reviews products but on this occasion I felt compelled to as I know the agony of Rosacea and there isn't much to try out there. Go on give it a go, you won't regret it.
