This LED strip is absolutely great. I’ve purchased quite a few LED light strips from vendors here on Amazon, but this particular set is definitely stands out. I was looking for something similar to Philips Hue, and this strip performs to the expectation of the Hue. The quality of the strip is very good (well for more than a week it performs just great). The strip is not waterproof; the adhesive is good. I installed it in aluminum channel near the ceiling, the strip stays firmly attached. Plus, you do not need to cut and connect corners, strip is flexible enough to slightly bent and glue those. The other thing, you can cut this strip every four inches, so you can easily fit strip length to your requirements. The LEDs are very bright, Warm and Cool white works just great. And, as a last note - the 24v power supply will be needed. I am using Gledopto RGBCCT to control this strip. The controller works well with Philips Hue App and Alexa. There are quite a few reviews on color match to Hue lights from Pros on different strips, but from my point of view of the ordinary user – I do not see a difference at all, very good color match. Since I have many Hue lights over the house I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Hue for the basement. The intent was to have a small area in the basement to light up when you step closer to the washer/dryer and carry something in your hands. Plus the system integrates to the rest of the basement when kids are playing there. So combination of the motion detector and Alexa and Philips Hue App works quite well for me. Overall, I am very satisfied with this strip.

I'm using this strip with a GLEDOpto Matter controller, and using homekit I'm getting great color and brightness control. The strip arrived neatly rolled up, with an extra piece of wiring and two connectors included. It does have eight connections that are soldered, see pictures for an example. I don't know if that's standard, but it could be a weak point. So far it hasn't been a problem and everything works well.

I bought these LED stripes to light up my work desk. These work excellent - there is no voltage drop, no flickering or dimming toward the end and I’ve cut it and reconnected around 6 corners. The color tone is very vibrant and “crispy” looking. with the controller I bought, you can change the white light to 6 different temps. I had a bad experience with a different brand of LED that was 5V, but these are amazing.

I as floored by the color accuracy. It is also still very bright for having fewer LEDs than other light strips. I sent these back because I needed some waterproofing on the strip, but was otherwise quite pleased with them

First and foremost I gotta say these strips are awesome, they're bright, the colors are rich, and the color consistency looks great across the strip. My only complaint is the limited CCT range, I would love for these LEDs to have a range of 2000k-6500k. Other than that the adhesive is alright, it's holding up so far but don't expect it to hold up cable weight.

Literally only the red and green lights work, no warm or cool whites no blue. Absolute trash product, don’t buy cheap LEDs! Just pay a little more for something reputable.

I decided to replace my hastily-placed (but long lasting) Lifx Z-strips in our kitchen (for under cabinet ambient lighting) with something a little more permanent and that I could run more professionally, especially since you can't cut them and run extensions. I found these and, for the price, seemed like a good deal. Out of the box, they work as expected. However, know that you're not getting a single, continuous LED strip. The reel you get is composed of scraps of various pieces of LED strips soldered together. IMO, this is incredibly poor quality and is, frankly, insulting. You will, in turn, waste LEDs if you use those solderless connectors, because they cannot penetrate the solder glob, and you'll have to chuck some in the trash. Soldering is absolutely the ticket with these, despite it being, you know, 2022. I'm not breaking out my soldering iron for this task. Next, the WW (warm white) line is mislabeled, which they try to cover up by soldering up cables to the start and end of the strip and wrapping it in shrink wrap. Running power directly to the WW line gives you bright bluish-white daylight white. Again, poor quality control and, again, insulting to the buyer. And, with no details in the packaging, no paperwork, nothing - you'll inevitably ruin some strips and lose some wiring and time. Brightness isn't great, but it is sufficient for most use cases. My previous Lifx Z-strips (about 8' of LED strips) were set at 50% brightness and were plenty bright. With these, I've got them at 100% brightness. I'm not running a lot in a row - a 24V, 5A brick is more than ample to power 8' of lighting - so it's not the power supply in use. But I wouldn't put these behind something like a TV, or they'll get lost. Use something brighter or with denser LEDs. But let's talk color. It does red, green, blue, warm white, and cool white as expected. CRI is good enough to not cause the rolling shutter effect with cameras, so no points off for false advertising. But the colors are far from accurate. A true yellow is simply not possible to create with these. The result is greenish. The controller I'm using is a GLEDOPTO Zigbee, and there are several user pictures on Amazon showing a true yellow. Other in-between colors, like purple or orange, are hard to dial in as well. The temperature range of the whites is very limited, but the range specified (3000K-6000K) doesn't seem accurate. The 3000K end is more akin to about 2200-2400K, while the cold end is more like 5500K. I'm glad these are a little warmer than expected, but YMMV. All in all, I wouldn't recommend these strips. I'm keeping them - they're already installed and look good - but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. I will not be purchasing anything from this seller again if this is the quality of product they sell.
