I'm only familiar with this product, not the purple bottle. I've used by hand only. Applied as a light thin coat, one panel at a time. Put it on, and by the time I've completely covered the panel, it has dried. Then I take it off with a microfiber cloth. I've never used a buffer. Has been a great product over the many years I've used it.

Can i use a machine with this glaze

Yes. When I use it, I apply a thin light coat and I do one panel at a time by hand. I apply with micro-fiber applicator, remove with old 100 percent cotton t-shirt and then buff micro-fiber towel.

Hand glaze is better used to removing swirl marks. Bug and tar remover is better for what your looking for. Any of the popular detailing brands will have bug and tar remover. use microfiber cloth to prevent from creating swirl marks.
