The device pamphlet explains how it calculates pressure readings (which are no substitute for a medical device) but advertisements don't. But I'm going to try to work with it because I like the watch and the weight. I took it off and it was like overnight, my wrist looked like the picture. The band literally has my skin on it. My wrist is sore and peeling. DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH!!!!! I also do not have sensitive skin. 30 days is how long I owned it. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I would give no stars if I could.
