Can I use this product to clean outdoor basketballs to restore grip to the ball?

I've never tried it for that but just did and it did make a significant improvement. Thanks for the great idea. It also cleaned them up quite a bit!!!

Would this work on jazz dance shoes to keep them from slipping on the dance flooring?
