Review: They are Better – It Makes a Difference - Ok, let’s start with the obvious – these Qdos outlet covers cost more than those cheap little pieces of plastic “plugs” that we have all seen and have been around for decades. But, they are SO MUCH NICER than the old school outlet covers. First – they WORK. They cover the entire outlet, and they STAY PUT. What’s the point of using an outlet cover if you really can’t trust it, and instead of staying in the wall, comes out when your toddler pulls on them. The Qdos covers keep prying fingers away, and stays in the outlet, which is why you bought them in the first place. Second – they are attractive. They look seamless and purposeful – not something that looks like a band aid stuck in your wall. Good design should be celebrated, and these are good design. Third – Peace of Mind. The old school outlet plugs you can buy at the grocery might be just fine for you. But, after 5 kids, I’ve seen them stretch out, fall out and become playthings themselves. You might be fine with the old school, but these Qdos covers work, stay installed, and look nice. And really, the price is not really that high for what it is.
