CUH Professional Slow Juicer for Highly Efficient Fruit Vegetable Juice Extraction Luxury Purple - Quiet Motor, Juice Container, Pulp Container & Cleaning Brush Included

I embarked on a Jason Vale juicing programme and borrowed a friend's Anthony Worral-Thompson juicer to begin with. It was a fast juicer which took whole fruit. I then bought my own. This one. I bought it as the slow juicers are supposed to retain more nutrients in the juice. It's a great juicer. Comparing it with the other juicer I didn't notice any difference in taste or amount of juice or how dry the pulp was however, this one is a lot smaller (and I have a dinky kitchen so space is very important) and it is lovely and quiet. It has strong suckers keeping it rooted to the worktop and is very simple to use- it has one setting and a reverse if anything gets stuck in it but it hasn't jammed with anything so far and it has been well used. It handles hard fruit and veg (apples, carrots, broccoli stem etc) easily and the pulp has been properly juiced. This is easy to clean out and takes no more than 5 minutes (max) to clean out and wash all the pieces. There is a handy little brush included to help clean it and no sharp blades to cut yourself on. My only gripe is that you have to cut up the fruit to put in it rather than being able to juice whole fruit, that being said, it is not a design flaw as I knew this buying it - it's just me being lazy! It's also a lovely pinky purple colour so it looks attractive sat on the worktop! All in all, I love it!

Fantastic slow juicer! I had a more expensive centrifugal juicer a couple of years ago, it cost me over £100 and was great, but very big and hard to wash. We gradually stopped using it and eventually gave it away. However I decided to go on a juice fast to fix a health issue so I needed a serious juicer again. I read that slow juicers give more juice and are healthier so wanted to try one. Most of them are between £100 - £200 which I can't really justify. When I saw this and read the reviews I decided to try it. Now I use it every day and have done for a couple of months. Like other reviewers, it takes a bit of getting used to how to put it back together after washing, but once you've practised a few times it becomes quick and easy. I was surprised at how fast it is, slow isn't really much slower that any other juicer I find! Highly recommend. I don't know why you would really pay more as it does everything you need. You can't make more than one or two juices at once without needing to clean it inbetween. I'm guessing that's probably true for all juicers though? If not then this will explain it's only drawback.

Excellent Juicer that works really well Pulp is very dry and you really get a lot of the juice out of it. You have to get used to cleaning it and fitting the parts back in but once you have done it a few times its a doddle I give it 4 stars because its a little bit fiddly initially but so much better than the rubbish sage heston blumenthal juicer i had to ditch Well worth the money

I bought a cold pressed juicer from a budget supermarket, it worked brilliantly, but unfortunately only lasted three months. I bought this as a replacement, it was roughly the same price, I have to admit the CUH juicer doesn't compare as well. The juice comes out warm and doesn't taste as good as my previous juicer. The pulp, doesn't really come out very dry, it doesn't juice kale well. The kale pulp doesn't really come out of the juicer, and it doesn't provide much juice. It doesn't juice celery well either. I find it very difficult to take apart after I have used it. I have to leave it quite a while before it is easily dismantled. I am not sure why that is. The parts just wont budge. All in all I find it quite frustrating to use and have to admit I am quite disappointed with it.

After using this every day for 2 weeks on various fruit and veg i can honestly say it is great value for money. The only recommendation i would give is for harder veg such as carrots cut them a bit smaller for the juicer. Cleaning the entire machine is so easy and takes approx 5 minutes. This is a fantastic product which i use twice every day and never though fruit and veg could taste so good. Overall a fantastic accessory for any home and perfect to help the kids get their 9 a day.

It was ok, hard work which I didn't mind cause I'm fussy, but it didn't last long, it just gave up the ghost. It wasn't overused the motor just wasn't really up to the job! Shame fab colour!

I've been using it for three months now and would recommend this juicer to anyone wanting to start juicing at an affordable price. Slight negatives first but bear in mind warned in the product description - you have to chop up fruit/veg and needs a bit of cleaning after using fibrous veg. Neither take more than a few minutes so not too onerous a task. The positives. It juices well, I'd say 99.5% is pure juice and handles everything thrown at it. It is quiet (great relief after having endure daughter's Nutri Bullet). Favourite juice is this mix; Oranges, Apples, Carrots, Turmeric, Ginger, Celery & Beetroot. Daughters have the first three then I continue with the last three. All in all great value for money.

Having had a 'fast' Phillips juicer (which blew up) I decided to move to a slow juicer. The CUH seemed perfect, and it is. The juice is delicious. The cleaning process is fast - except for the metal sieve which takes a bit of time. I'm glad I bought it.
