My mother was a Stanley Home Products dealer and district director for 50 years. This broom has been used in our family for all the last 50 years. It is the only broom we use. I used to give these brooms as wedding/shower gifts. I have a winter park model and missed having this broom. So I ordered it. The handle comes in two pieces which makes it easy to ship. I prefer the one piece handle but I will work with this modification. The broom itself is the best part because the bristles are not made of straw and don't fall apart. Even when the bristles start to wear too much then I transfer the broom to the garage. The broom still works. Then I buy a new one.
