I looked at loads before choosing this one but a) red - great as a colour warning re: temperature b) removable lid - this is the piece that ends up breaking with time c) replacement lids are available (around £17 + shipping) and Morphy Richards offer an extended warranty with registration which they actually honour.There is a big choice in airports (particularly around the 3L size though I went with the 5L) and this one is excellent. The volume of boiling water dispenser with one push of the pump is perfect for a cup of tea and the lock function works well for transport.I use this in the freezing cold at Forest School and no problems in regular use over months.
