This is one of the best peelers I have used and a noticeable upgrade from older ones. It is very sharp and works quickly, making peeling much easier. It has also made a big difference for my arthritis, reducing strain on my hands. sharp enough to get through the peel of butternut which is what I wanted. I loved the part that takes out the eyes of potatoes. The grip is wonderful. This peeler and well-made and should stay sharp and last for years (as long as you don't put it in the dishwasher-just rinse and put away).

EXCELLENT!!!! I had several peelers, including that stirrup-style one and they just were poor at peeling potatoes and carrots. I eat a LOT of carrots. Even my dogs eat carrots, they love them and beg when I'm making a salad. I replaced all my peelers and ordered this OXO peeler and I absolutely love it. The grip is easy to hold (I'm older, and ergonomic is key for arthritis.) The blade is nice and sharp, made short work of my carrots. It didn't want to nick my knuckles by being too wide. It's easy to manipulate safely. It's supposed to be rust-resistant, but that means, probably, you should dry it after you wash it. RECOMMENDED

My daughter has this OXO peeler. Recently I used hers and was amazed at how much better it worked than my generic brand one, so I bought this OXO peeler for myself. My old one was fairly new, yet the OXO still peeled much better. The grip is great, it has a solid feel to it, and it slices a wider peel than my old one. Since I eat a lot of raw carrots and apples, I appreciate having a good peeler. I highly recommend the OXO Good Grips Swivel Peeler

Not bad. Sometimes a bit of skin gets stuck in the side of the peeler but most of the time it works fine.

Okay, I didn't think I could have opinions about a peeler until I used this one. The grip is super comfortable — even when your hands are wet it doesn't slip around, which is kind of a big deal when you're peeling a pile of potatoes. The blade is sharp right out of the box and glides through carrots, apples, zucchini, whatever, without you having to muscle through it. And the little potato eye remover on the top actually works, which feels like a bonus at this price point. It's held up really well too — no rusting, blade's still going strong after months of regular use. For like $10, it's honestly one of the best kitchen purchases I've made. Simple, reliable, does exactly what it's supposed to. No notes.

I only wish I had bought this peeler earlier!!! It is the easiest to use that I have ever owned!!! It fits in your hand very comfortably and the blades are super sharpe. I would give it a 10 star rating if I could!

This is definitely the best peeler I’ve ever had! Sharp, comfortable, comes with protective layers times two to prevent accidental cutting. Excellent peeler for a decent price. I highly recommend it.
