Excellent product at a good price
I had purchased an identical product from another vendor that specializes in bird netting. This product is identical and the cost was nearly 35% less. That doesn't include the Amazon Prime free shipping. This netting is pretty strong and appears rugged enough. I use it to block the barn doors in order to keep the birds out. They make a horrible mess. I ran a polypropylene rope along the perimeter of the netting and installed it on the doors. You can hardly see it and it allows the air flow to come through unrestricted. I had bought the previous netting from Bird B Gone and it was cut to length. When stretched it did not measure out to the proper size. The product comes shrunk and has to be stretched. I believe my previous order from Bird B Gone wasn't cut properly or it isn't shrunk evenly so when it is cut it may not be a square end. Both ends went to a point leaving me with less useable material. Of course they blamed me for not stretching it properly. Huh? The salesman said they get lots of complaints like this but they don't do anything about it. I haven't used this netting yet but I think the 25 x 25 piece will stretch out evenly since it is a factory cut. We shall see.

They will have fun and you will save yourself much frustration
High quality netting, thick and strong, but it comes stretched on the diagonal (hypotenuse). When you first get it, you will swear that it is the wrong size. You must stretch it out so that it is square at 25'x25'. Not a one person job. If you have kids or neighborhood kids - recruit! They will have fun and you will save yourself much frustration.

Not 25 ft by 25 ft
First is the size. It is advertised 25’ by 25’ and is not true. The net is not a perfect square and more like a hexagon. Width shrinks near the ends. The net did not fit as I measured for a perfect 25’ x 25’. Second is this net is advertised as HEAVY DUTY. This net is very thin. I could be wrong on this one but doesn’t seem heavy duty to me. Varmints can chew through this very easily. Overall the invalid SIZE and PRICE of thin material is why I rate at one star.

Netting is plastic, and very stretchy. The size ...
Netting is plastic, and very stretchy. The size was not exactly 25x25 feet. This is only appropriate if you are going to stretch it across something, it isn't heavy duty enough to hang by itself.

Exactly as described
This product does not rip or tear, wears like iron. Whatever you place it on better be up to carrying the weight the net can endure however. After a March Nor’easter with heavy, wet snow, the net held but the structure did not. Be careful what you wish for. Replaced the structure and reused the netting. Amazing stuff.

The net seems to be strong but hard to make it square. Was cut very poorly when shipped.
It was cut to size very poorly. Had to to cut several feet of netting to make it square. The net ended up being a lot smaller than I ordered. I used it to cover my chicken run to keep my birds inside and other creatures out.

Excellent netting; be sure to stretch it first!
Don’t waste your time with the cheap, gossamer netting that sells for about $30. That stuff is impossible to handle. THIS is the right netting to cover a fruit tree. It is very strong, relatively easy to handle, and doesn’t snag too badly. As others have stated, you MUST stretch it out into a square when you unpack it. My geometry-challenged wife did not appreciate the difference between a parallelogram and a square... So we deployed it nearly unstretched and needless to say it did not cover our 12-foot cherry tree. Epic fail, start over. Give yourself plenty of room, get help (four people would be ideal) or at least some big bricks to hold down the corners while stretching. The corners are marked with nice red tabs, making them easy to find. We then successfully launched it over the tree, using 10-foot lengths of metal conduit to hold one edge way up in the air, and sort of walked it over the tree. Not too much of a struggle. Then gather it up and tie it around the base of the trunk. Be sure to close it off 100%. We missed a couple of openings and sure enough it turned into an aviary for robins and mocking birds! A real pain to shoo them out. Seal it up good, folks.

Exceptional for use as a drop net over Muscovy ducks.
Once tied out this 25' by 25' net with only four corner poles held up well. Unfolding, testing, folding and rolling repeatedly resulted in no tangles. The net stretched some, but very little. Did the job for us as we were able to drop the net on 12 to 15 birds for safe and humane removal. Did exactly what we wanted net to do.
