Great replacement battery for Sony! Two batteries for the price of one!

I bought the two-pack of the Kastar batteries to test with my Sony DSC-P200 camera. So far I have just charged the batteries and compared their life reported on my camera’s LCD with the life reported for my original Sony battery. The Kastar battery package says it has a 1600 mAh capacity. The specifications for the Sony battery say it has a capacity of 1220 mAh. Currently my fully charged but used Sony battery reports about 201 minutes of operating time. For the same conditions, one Kastar battery reports about 105 minutes and the other about 107 minutes. So while the Kastar packaging says their batteries have a higher capacity rating than the Sony battery, their estimated operating time reported in my camera is less. Nonetheless, for the price and the way I shoot, I think the Kastar batteries will be good spares, and the camera operates normally with the Kastar batteries. Recognize that I have just gotten the batteries, so I have no insights about how fast they drain, their reliability, limits on their recharge cycles, or how well they will perform out in the field. So far, I give the batteries four stars for the performance and price point.

The Kastar Battery (2-Pack) by KA Star Store came the other day. I have had batteries like these from Batmax, and they came with a charger. When 1 battery acted dead, I threw it away, and thought another battery was bad too - until I tried them in the Batmax charger again, and noticed they would charge if I held them in the charger tight. - Or, wedged tight with a business card. I am concerned about their safety doing that. I already ordered these Kastar batteries - which seemed to charge and work fine. So, they're OK, certainly for an old camera they're great - just make sure to have 1 for the camera, and another charged and ready. I think mine came in individual plastic battery cases, to store them safe.

Awesome for My camera. Was so nice to have backup batteries. Two weeks on vacation with over 900 pictures an no need to charge batteries until I got home.

Great value for a hard to find product.

my original one can be fully charged to 150 minutes, until now (15 years later) it can only to 70 minutes. the two here, I don't see them that can be charged to 150 minutes so far, but the two still work to 70 minutes.
