I got these originally in the sale and thought why not give it a try as a day to day coffee when working. For the price i wasn't expecting anything special but it is surprisingly good value and quality. You get 2 x 500g bags. they are foil lined which is great for freshness, and they have the usual pressure seal circle to avoid the bag popping. Aroma is good. They don't smell burnt or over roasted like some "Italian style" beans. They do smell rich and like dark chocolate. Appearance they look to have a gentle even roast. There's no random burnt or underdone beans. Roasting is very even. Flavour is good. These do create a good creme when making espresso. I did also try them in a cafetier and it was just like generic coffee and not very exciting. In espresso they are much better. These are not the most lively and full packed with varied fruit or confectionery flavours. You will taste dark chocolate with a little vanila. It is a very pleasant and repeatable flavour if you drink coffee regularly. Don't expect lots of flavours to sip at and contemplate. For that you will have to pay much more. I rally enjoyed these beans. They seem finer and smoother than the normal Amazon beans that I generally buy (which are not to be dismissed) Good strong taste that suits me well.

I just ground and drank my first cup of Caffè Intenso, Light Roast Coffee Beans, and I have to say, it was a lovely experience. This was my first time trying this particular Amazon offering, and it didn’t disappoint. The moment I started grinding the beans, a wonderful aroma filled the air, which carried through beautifully into the pot as it brewed. As for the taste, it’s not particularly strong, which I found perfect for a light roast. It’s nice and smooth, with no bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste to spoil the moment. Just a clean, enjoyable sip from start to finish. For the price, I think it’s fantastic value - quality like this at such an affordable rate is hard to beat. I’d highly recommend Caffè Intenso Light Roast to anyone looking for a great start to their day. Off now to test it on my wife!

This was a solid coffee bean at an amazing price - rich, rounded and chocolatey. I wouldn't call it a light roast, more medium/dark, but there is less bitterness than you often get with dark roasts. It’s now twice the price it was, but then so are all my other coffee bean options, so relatively still a good deal.

This Amazon Intenso Coffee Bean 2 x 500g pack is great value, certainly compared to my usual L'Or Onyx Beans which are around £2 more for 500g less. The beans aren't quite as well roasted as I prefer, but produce a good quality espresso with good crema. I have a digital espresso machine so I grind the beans before making the coffee and they produce a good ground coffee and a pretty decent espresso although there is a little bitterness at the end, If I mix this with some Lavazza Rossa ground coffee, the result is really good espresso, with the bitterness significantly reduced so I will buy again and continue to use that mix. Overall its a pretty decent coffee at a very good price.

I have a bean to cup machine that seems to dislike oily coffee beans, don’t have an issue with this stuff, just perfect on a slightly fine grind setting. Normally I bulk buy at Costco but the prices have increased massively and their beans are now just full of oil, in comparison buying this on subscribe and save definitely saves me money. Where the coffee is concerned it’s on the strong side, quite bitter, I mix in some arabica beans and it’s just right. It’s not the smoothest but I don’t look for this in coffee. On the bean to cup machine it gets a lovely texture to the crema. It may not be super amazing coffee but it’s fairtrade, I have no complaints and for the cost I’ll be continuing to pour this into my machine for the considerable future 👌👍

Ecco i miei PRO e CONTRO onesti: I PRO (Perché lo ricomprerò sicuramente): Prezzo imbattibile: Al momento, considerando la media dei marchi famosi, questo è in assoluto uno dei migliori compromessi sul mercato per chi consuma tanto caffè in casa e non vuole svenarsi. Formato super intelligente: Invece del classico e ingombrante sacco unico da 1 kg (che una volta aperto fa prendere aria ai chicchi perdendo l'aroma), questo arriva in due pratiche confezioni da 500g. Geniale per mantenere i grani freschi e profumati fino all'ultimo utilizzo. Gusto equilibrato: Essendo un "Intenso" ma con "Tostatura chiara", ha un sapore bello deciso e corposo per darvi la sveglia al mattino, ma senza quel retrogusto bruciato o troppo amaro che spesso hanno i caffè forti. Certificazione etica: Sapere che ha il bollino Rainforest Alliance fa piacere, significa che c'è un occhio di riguardo per l'ambiente e per i coltivatori. I CONTRO (Un accorgimento necessario): Richiede un po' di "settaggio": Come per tutti i caffè in grani nuovi, non scoraggiatevi al primissimo caffè. Ho dovuto fare 2 o 3 tentativi regolando la manopola della macinatura della mia macchina automatica per trovare il giusto spessore e ottenere una bella cremina densa. Rispondo a una domanda che mi facevo io prima dell'acquisto: I chicchi sono molto oleosi? (Chi ha una macchina automatica sa che i chicchi troppo unti possono bloccare il macinino). Assolutamente no, i chicchi si presentano belli asciutti e regolari, e scendono perfettamente nell'ingranaggio senza inceppare la macchina. In sintesi: Un caffè da tutti i giorni onesto, buono e venduto al giusto prezzo. Se la vostra famiglia consuma molti caffè al giorno, diventerà un acquisto fisso per arginare i rincari. Promosso a pieni voti!

J’ai récemment testé le café en grains by Amazon Intenso en torréfaction légère, et je dois dire que j’ai été agréablement surpris. Dès l’ouverture des paquets, l’arôme est subtil mais bien présent, avec des notes légèrement fruitées qui annoncent une dégustation tout en douceur. À l’extraction, que ce soit en machine automatique , j’ai apprécié l’équilibre de ce café. La torréfaction légère permet de conserver une certaine fraîcheur et une acidité modérée, sans tomber dans l’amertume. Personnellement, je trouve qu’il se prête particulièrement bien aux cafés du matin, car il est à la fois doux et stimulant. Le fait qu’il soit certifié Rainforest Alliance est aussi un vrai plus pour moi : c’est rassurant de savoir que le produit est issu d’une démarche plus responsable. En revanche, si je devais noter un petit bémol, je dirais que les amateurs de cafés très corsés pourraient le trouver un peu trop léger en intensité. Mais pour mon usage quotidien, c’est justement ce que je recherche. En résumé, je suis très satisfait de ce café : un bon rapport qualité-prix, une saveur agréable et une approche plus respectueuse de l’environnement. Je le rachèterai sans hésiter.
