Singapore Math – Level 3A Math Practice Workbook for 4th Grade, Paperback, Ages 9–10 with Answer Key

These workbooks are supreme if your student or child is working in the Singapore Math. My granddaughter had a lot of trouble with math and understanding/retaining what she learned. Everyone said this would be too hard. I found that she worked so much more independently and came up grade levels all by herself. I came back for one more because she asked for it. This was fabulous! She has Aspergers Syndrome and we tried everything for years to no avail. Two years ago I got her in to Singapore Math and she began to excel immediately. They give pages of examples for the child to look at and try before attempting a page on their own. The child can also go back and look at previous examples to refresh their skill and then accomplish the problem suceessfully. So glad I got these! reasonably priced as well in my opinion!

Great way for kiddos to practice their math skills during school holidays. Able to assign my daughter a couple of pages to complete each day. Problems are easy to understand.

I purchase it for my daughter for extra math practice. It's very useful and explanatory. My daughter loves it.

There is a lot of practice in here for some basic skills. I think this book is mostly 4th grade skills, although I bought for my third graders, as I think they are fully capable of doing a lot of it, too! My favorite part is the story problems. I purchased these "Practice" books along with the Word Problems books. If you are trying to decide on just one, I would go with these. They contain plenty of word problems. I personally don't reproduce these pages, but use the problems as a springboard into writing my own problems.

This book was suggested by our teacher to keep learning fresh over the summer. She suggested we buy 3A and 3B to complete over the summer and be ready for the advanced 4th grade class next year. So far, it is working. We also bought times table flash cards which seems to be a good accompaniment for this book series. Good luck!

Nine-year old can't wait to start each day with math. She chooses to start with this book, and I have to stop her from doing additional lessons. I can't believe it. Would highly recommend.

Singapore math is all the rage at the present moment. The efficacy of this method is still to be evidenced. No current research available. Another method to teach children basic math.

Very few challenging problems for a 3rd grader. Lot of drill problems. A bit disappointed ...

its a good practice book but I was expecting a little thick. My son did 5-6 pages everyday and was done in 2 months. both books done in 4 months.
