The picture was taken using a iPhone X with a DX01 battery pack. Which is a heavy setup, possibly about 3lbs. My concern was that once fully extended it would be top heavy in tripod mode or that the phone would slide out of a spring loaded grip. Neither happened and a plus! The grip that holds the phone is not spring loaded.
