Perfect for Professional Organizers Trying to Avoid Dust Bunnies!
I'm a Professional Organizer, so I wanted a good shoe cover to allow me to keep my shoes on in "sticky or hazardous" situations as well as one that would allow me to keep from tracking pet hair (allergic) and other dirt into my car upon leaving a client's home. These work perfect for what I wanted and needed. I have big feet, so fitting them over my shoes isn't always perfect, but they do a great job for protecting my shoes and my client's carpets. They are fairly easy to remove, but sometimes a little difficult to get on. Once you learn how they best fit over a certain pair of shoes, the task becomes much easier. I have torn a couple of pair as I put them on, but overall, they have held up very well in regards to wear and tear while I am walking in them. If you are going to be on your feet for more than 2-3 hours, you will need to change these out by the 3rd hour. They tend to attract dirt very well, so after a few hours, they build up quite a bit of dust on them and begin to slide on hardwood floors. I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 star because of the package that they come in, which doesn't stay on once you open the package. As far as price, these are the best deal I have found online - Thanks Amazon! P.S. I'm writing this review as I am about to order my second package of these covers.

Some Dexterity Required
The shoe covers were purchased with the idea in mind of protecting the carpeting in the house: everybody either wears them or takes off their shoes. That was the concept anyway. In practice, however, slipping the covers on over your typical Nike type footwear, is not as carefree as it sounds. In fact, there is no "slipping", it's more of a tug of war kind of like stretching form fitting sheets onto a mattress. You get the toe in and the stretch towards the heel, and as the heel goes in the toe pops out. And this is accomplished while hopping around on one foot. Once heel and toe are anchored, you then have to pry the sides of the covers up over the sole on each shoe. And this is rather like putting one of those stretchy elastic covers over a plastic tub of leftovers, and again... still hopping on one foot. If you're in a hurry and committed to preserving the carpet, forget the covers and just take your shoes off. If, on the other hand, you have a few minutes, it's better to sit down while doing the stretch/yank/pull procedure.Nevertheless, once the covers are on, they're not going to fall off. And unless you tear them in the putting-on process, they are reusable and the used ones, being stretched out, actually do slip on.

Great way to keep my shoes clean even doing strange chores.
I did not purchase these disposable polypropylene shoe covers for the common use. Because I have MS I sometimes have to wear an AFO on my left leg because of foot drop. Without the brace, there are times walking is extremely difficult. Well, combine this with taking care of my small flock of chickens and I sometimes have a problem. The brace is difficult to get on and off and I only have the one; however, I have one designated pair of shoes that I keep on the porch that is used solely for going into the chicken run/coop. Walking into the house after having been in the coop is not gonna happen. Nope. So, in order to be able to go into the coop with my brace/shoes I figured this might be a good option and it has worked out very well. Now on the days that I need to wear the brace, I know I can easily do my 'chores' outside because I can slip these over my shoes. Because they are made of paper and part of the walk is concrete they often get a hole on the trip back but that's definitely understandable. I really don't think they were intended for concrete. Very much a value for me.

Better Than Expected
Actually these booties performed better than I expected from reading the comments posted. They are a little smaller than most so I agree that perhaps a larger man's shoe size might be a problem, but a size 8 or 9 wouldn't be a problem. To put to the wearability test, I put a pair over my indoor house slippers, and wore them constantly while in the house. They performed 10 days before wearing thin enough to have worn through with a hole. Since it was just one, and the remainder of the bootie was still good, I just scotch taped the hole together with the excess material and continued to wear them around the house. I have carpet and tile. I experimented with one bootie with the seam inside and one with the seam on the outside of the bootie. Inside seam lasted longer on the bottom before a hole wore through.

These work great to keep your carpet clean
My whole house is carpeted with a very light color, and there are times on the weekend when I am doing things outside, and need to come in the house to get something and then go back outside and I don't want to take my shoes off each time. So I keep these in the mud room and put them on my shoes while I am in the house, and then take them off when I go outside again. I only rated them as 4 stars instead of 5 since they are almost too small for my size 11 shoes. I have torn a few trying to get them on...so if they came in an Extra Large size I would have given them 5 stars. I your feet are smaller than a men's size 11, they should fit you just fine.

They really do fit if...
They really do fit if...You may wonder why some people say they fit and some people say they don't. The answer might be in the way they come folded. When you first pull one of the shoe covers out from the bundle it looks like it won't fit anything larger than a size 4. Well, maybe larger than size 4 but not much. And if you had a very small foot, you could put them on that way. But if you unfold it to expose the fact that the toe of the shoe also gets covered, it will easily fit my size 11 shoes. It fits over tennis shoes, street shoes, boat shoes, anything. But it really is confusing
