Best phone I have owned
This is the first Blackberry device that I have used and owned. I had originally purchased it from Amazon, however, the device was probably stolen in transit and I received a box with broken seals with the charger and headphone only. Amazon sorted this out for me and I purchased the phone from somewhere else. Having owned samsung galaxies and iphones in the past, I wanted to have something unique and different that was not just this 'percentage faster' and this 'percentage thinner' etc from the previous model. With all the similar toys out in the market, only the key2 stood out as the most unique and innovative product that functioned not just as an entertainment device but a proper phone too. Initially, It was tricky for me to get used to the physical keyboard, however, typing on the phone is the best experience now, and I would never go back to a virtual keyboard. The phone has outstanding build quality , and looks and feels great too. Call quality is excellent, as is the sound when streaming media, contrary to many reviews that stated the speaker was not 'loud enough', this has not been the case for me. The screen quality is also outstanding, although I notice that the pixels are not as sharp as the 2k screen on my other phone (that I dont use any more, as i prefer the blackberry), but this is not rocket science as it is a 1080p phone. The great thing about sacrificing the desire to admire extra super sharp edges is that the battery lasts longer. The phone already has a great battery, i believe about 3500mah, and the fact that it doesnt have a 2k screen just means it lasts much longer. I am able to get over a days moderate use without having to charge it. The only negative thing about this phone for me is an issue withe the stock blackberry launcher. It has a bug that causes excessive ram to be used and slows the device down, this fixes temporarily when you reboot the phone but it is annoying to have to constantly keep doing that. Hopefully blackberry will sort this out soon, as it is such a great launcher. For now i have deactivated the launcher, and am using another launcher off playstore. Overall, great solid device that performs well as a phone for professional use as well as for entertainment. Like I mentioned earlier, this is my first blackberry device that I have used and owned and I am thoroughly pleased with it. Contrary to popular belief... i have come to the conclusion that blackberry phones are not only for professional use or for 'blackberry fans'!

A superb modern phone which also makes it possible to get things done quickly and efficiently.
I hesitated for a long time before upgrading from my excellent KeyOne, but am very glad that I did. There were three inovations that appealed to me: 1. the larger keys on the physical keyboard; 2. the repositioning of the power key onto the right side of the phone along with the volume key and the convenience key, and 3. the speed key to improve access to the shortcutkeys. Although the KeyOne keyboard is positive and fairly easy to type on, I find the significantly larger keys on the Key2 more comfortable and I feel I can be more accurate, very much like the excellent keyboard on the Blackberry Classic. I think that Blackberry and TCL Communications have done an excellent job in redesigning this keyboard. I much prefer to have all the other physical controls on the righthand side of the phone as I can lay it in a horizontal belt case without the phone continually switching on as I move. Finally, I think that the speed key is a superb innovation and great improvement. For me, the ability to have 52 shortcuts available through a long or a short press of all 26 alphabet keys is in itself a superb productivity feature and one that has always drawn me towards Blackberry, but to have the ability with the speed key of accessing shortcuts without having to return to the home screen every time is a real game changer. It just makes moving from one app to another and then back again so much quicker and easier. You can be, for instance, working in one app, notice a text message arrive, pop across to the shortcut you have set up to text that particular person, write your reply and then return directly to the app you were working in. I think this is a superb phone and one of the best I have ever owned - definitely 5-star for me.

Strong phone and everything I love about Blackberry
Pros: Finger Print scan - For easy unlocking The locker - Wonderful for private photos, documents and can be hidden from the main view and made only accesible from the quick keys Quick keys - They make opening your mostly used apps super easy, some weird pre set up ones but nothing you cant change Physical Keyboard - And yes, it comes with that satisfying clicky noise you only get with a blackberry Screen Keyboard - Yes, by pressing the symbols button you can bring up a virtual keyboard. (I don't know why you would) Dual camera - Granted, not powerful, does the job of taking pictures quite nicely. If I wanted a super duper all singing all dancing camera, I would buy a camera. Torch - The power of a thousand suns. - Brightest torch I have come across on a phone, brilliant for finding dropped keys outside at night. - But seriously don't look directly at it. Cons: Weak camera - If you care about such a thing Price - Higher stat phones are available for the price, I'd say you are paying at least ยฃ100 for the blackberry name. "Grip" back - Doesn't grip as well as you would hope, still slides out of my hands like most other phones I have had. Screen - Strange size that does behave weirdly with some games/apps. - But nothing you can't get over Speakers/Headphone Jack - Coming from the priv it was dissapointing to see the speakers be place on the bottom as left and right rather than somwhere on the front as a whole unit giving out decent quality sound. The headphone jack is on the top, i prefer it on the bottom - that might just be a me thing. Battery life - not a massive con, but it does not last 2 days under use. With gaming, a day and a half. Still a good battery, but not as advertised. Summary: So far I have enjoyed every moment of this phone, granted it has some weaknesses but nothing is without it's faults. Personally I dont mind paying for the blackberry name because it comes with added security which makes me feel safer in an ever growing dagerous digitial world. Some of the cons I mentioned you can just get over (headphone jack, screen size) and if your hands are too cold or you just want to be annoying, you can bring up the virtual keyboard instead of using the physical one. Once again Blackberry HUB continues to amaze me in how neat and tidy it makes all my emails/texts/whatapp/BBM messages.

My KeyOne had its screen pop off about a month after its 1 year warranty, and felt it was time for an upgrade. Die hard blackberry fan, and user, since the OS10 days. I received the silver version, and am enjoy it so far, and reminds me of my passport I loved - but was way too big for one handed use. The new key2 seems to be a vast improvement over the key1, and the phone blazes through speed. I don't use my Key2 other than business, so it's devoid of any social media, music, or hungry apps other than email, and enterprise apps. Only downside are the speakers. They are a solid C- grade, and even hearing text messages makes me cringe. Same note on my iPhone, which I use for my personal and all media function, would sound delicate yet clear - whereas these speakers sound tinny, hollow, and very limited in speaker range. Speaker phone however, is about 20% more loud than MAX, on the Key1, which was a big issue for me. Call quality is excellent however, and once I updated all settings to the T Mobile APN, all functions are retained. LTE, voip, WiFi messaging, all work so far If the phone were a little heavier, it would feel substantial, but the build quality is high, without any flex or creaking when applying pressure on frame of phone. If youre a business's owner, the blackberry hub is worth converting, and then the phtyscial keyboard makes typing while looking at the screen redundant. It's it's efficiency you seek, the Key2 is a home run. Edit 1 - migrated and setup the phone to how I wanted it and, after a day of networking. This phone cuts out seconds over every input and I findmyself immersed in accurate note taking, and for when I need to look at sheets and business applications. Absolutely stunned. They keyboard is breaking in and buttons getting softer - I did not like the keys off the KeyOne and felt the keys were too tight, and offered limited ergonomics for all finger types. The key2 has addressed this, and i actually preferr the slight wobble in the keys, as I feel a physical depression of the keys, as I blast through emails. Speakers are crap. That's for sure. In ear calls are very clear however - and I'm only referring to the speaker for media/notes/sounds/etc. Battery life amazing. Was at an networking event, with my major shortcuts set - and it's the first time I was going faster than the info being presented. Impressed. My own efficiency has now increased 20% as the phone is snappy, efficient, and long uses/charge.

First this is not BBF100-1, it is BBF100-6, /PRD-035/ India version. its means it is dual SIM 64G key2. Of course if you use MicroSD then you cannot use second SIM. The phone is good produced, with fast charge that quickly full up. Key 2 is good replacement for blackberry os10. Itโs very fast and fluently. Honestly it is still have distance to OS10. As other Android that has too much useless app. In addition that hard to organise if compare to OS10. I meet some technical issue on this phone. So I contacted Blackberry mobile - After I contact Blackberry (Optimus, the manufacturer ) It can not provide service for this phone due to non record on their database. So I contacted Amazon service and send it back fro refund.

Really love this phone; when I went to T-Mobile to activate it, the woman there took a picture of it because she thought it was so cool. It's lighter than I expected, but still feels sturdy, esp. with the metal frame. The keyboard is REALLY nice, and thank God it has the BlackBerry Hub! If you've never heard of the Hub, it aggregates all your mail and social media feeds into one convenient place, sorts them by account, or lets you make a custom view. So if you have work related accounts (email, Slack), you can bunch them together in a 'view'. The BB version of Android also allows you to use a dark background theme for most parts of your phone, which I love. The battery life so far has been AMAZING, with fairly regular use hardly draining it. The screen is nice and clear, and the photos are good, with different modes and filters. The one thing I miss is the old BlackBerry's ability to select a mode (don't recall the name), where it would take a little video and you could use a dial to select the moment/exposure that you wanted. Also really like the back of the phone, which while not as flashy as the glass back phones, is non skid. You can also program the LED on the front of your phone to flash a different colour for a text message, email etc. On the old BB OS you could select a specific person and assign them a colour, and then if you got anything from them, it would blink that colour - I understand there is an app in the Play store that you can use to mimic that functionality, but I haven't installed it yet. You can also use the spacebar as a fingerprint sensor to unlock your phone, and stroking your hand over the keyboard allows you to scroll (!!!) which is awesome if you like using your phone one handed. A terrific phone for a really great price! Wish more people would give BlackBerry a shot (and I wish BlackBerry made the Key2 in different colours! Not just the LTE!)

While overall I can recommend this product there are a few nitpicking items of note. Things I hate: - the capacitive keys are redundant and reduce Screen potential - the piece that covers the keyboard has visible gaps and doesn't appear to fit flush. -tapping on the back or front lower portion makes a noticeable tinny vibration. - lastly, there are 2 speaker grills on the bottom but only 1 speaker. Things I love: -battery life, while on a road trip I managed to get 10:30 of screen on time while watching HD video. -the keyboard is love, the keyboard is life. -quick launch apps using keyboard -keyboard is a trackpad -Call quality is fantasic -built in security program -Programmable side key -spacebar is the fingerprint scanner Other things of note: -the camera is only ok for a 2018 phone -screen could be better Update (9/18/19): why I'm going back to Samsung. First off let me say that this was not an easy choice for me. I dearly love the keyboard however, for all the things the keyboard adds it also takes from everything else. If I were only using this device for business then I would have no problems with it. To use it for just about anything else the small LCD display just isn't near the experience of a full screen phone. videos, photos, games, and so on are ok if you have to but nearly any new full screen phone is a better viewing experience. A few other reasons I'm switching back are lack of waterproofing, no wireless charging, and only a mediocre screen quality. Message for the developers: I love Blackberry, but the format of the 3/4 screen has seen its day. I'd be willing to buy a slider should you make one. I very much liked the Blackberry Access concept that floated around.
