Since my kids are in and out of them and swinging in them they tend not to last for more than 2-3 yrs max. I have seen the parachute material ones out for a few years but never tried them until now. Very nice, light yet strong material, comfortable to lay in and feel very sturdy. Easy to setup with a lot of different loops in tree strap to adjust hammock to all different tree gaps....the real test is how it does over time in the elements but if I get 2 seasons out of it I would be happy at this price though I expect that I will get more. These are machine washable as well which is a plus and seem to dry quickly after rain. Buy 2 at this price, teen kids seem to gravitate to them and they are certainly a favorite spot for my kids and their friends.
