Tulip tie dye kits are great! This one came with so many different colors and double of the favorite colors. Easy to use. Directions were clear and even gave pattern ideas. Everything you need to dye is in this kit.

This is a wonderful product. I bought this for a family trip . 15 people made tie dye shirts with this kit. The bottles looked small to me and I didn’t think we would have enough but we did. It was a fun family project and now we all have tie dye shirts. I did a soda ash on the shirts and they are the best and brightest tie dye I’ve done.

This is a great tie dye supply set. It's complete and has everything you need with the exception of shirts or other items you wish to tie dye and plastic bags for the items to sit in while the dye sets (gallon sized ziplocs). This was our first time doing tie dye, so I took my time looking up suggestions and tips. Following some basic tips went a long way in guaranteeing not only that this wasn't a completely messy disaster, but also that the shirts turned out vibrant and continue to last wash after wash: 1. Choose items that are 100% cotton and wash them before using the dye to remove any manufacturing chemicals, etc. 2. Start the process with damp materials. I took ours right out of the washing machine. They shouldn't be sopping wet, simply damp. 3. Use a kitchen cooling rack for dying. This allows extra dye to pool under the item where it won't mess up the patterns attempted. We also used this over a sheet pan so it collected the dye and was easy to dump! For patterns we wanted to be specific, we rinsed the pan/cooling rack/our gloves with the hose between each tee. 4. Use a lot of dye! Damp material helps the dye go further, but you still need to soak each color section well. Pour into fabric folks as well to make sure you get full coverage. With this set, we vibrantly dyed 11 tee shirts (2 adult L, 1 Adult 2XL, 1 Adult M, 1 Adult SM, 1 Child L, 3 Child M, 2 Child SM) 5. GO OUTSIDE! No matter how cleanly you think this can be done, it cannot. Take it outside for everyone's sanity and for the benefit of your home's interior. 6. WEAR. THE. GLOVES. And wear clothes you don't care about. Even filling bottles, you will find the powder magically appears on your gloves (it's evil like glitter!) and any drops of water mean instant dye. Take it outside and wear clothes that are black or clothes you don't care about messing up. 7. Once done with an item, do not unravel it. Place it in its own ziploc bag (I suggest gallon size) for at least 24 hours. 8. After 24 hours, take each item out of its bag separately, remove any rubber bands and rinse with the hose outside. Rinse until the water comes out fairly clear. Don't panic if the item starts to look grey as you rinse. That is normal! 9. Wash each item SEPARATELY in HOT water and then hang dry. This is the only time you need to wash them separately. (You can get away with washing like colors together if you arent afraid of any dye swapping in the wash). Hang dry. 10. For the next THREE washes, wash the tie dyed materials together with no other items. Wash on HOT and hang dry. 11. From the 4th wash on, cold water is great and they can be washed as normal. To keep vibrant, always hang dry. Bonus Tip -- YouTube is an excellent resource for patterns! Especially the videos provided by the manufacturer. It seems like a lot, but it really is easy! And this is a no-fail way to make sure you love your items and they last a long, long time!

Made so many cool summerween shirts with these! Perfect for all ages! Easy to use and easy to follow instructions. Will stain your carpet though so make sure you keep the shirt on the tarp they provide! Or do it outside

Great kit. Kids loved making tie dye shirts. Came with lots of colors. All the colors were pretty and vibrant. We made about 5 shirts and the kids wasted a ton of dye. It is very messy though.

Had everything i needed except the wire rack for drying them. Instructions were simple, included a lot of patterns, which was very helpful for a newbie. I like that it came with a big plastic tablecloth, it makes a lot of drips. Had enough dye for 12 normal size bandanas and 4 xl shirts, with the 3 or 4 duplicate colors leftover. It has to be used within a day of mixing, so this is a one time kit if you want all the colors. I had to get extra black, there should have been two blacks. I think it was yellow, blue, fushia and light pink that were doubles. The color fades a little after repeated washing, but it still looks great. I could have let it set longer, for deeper color, I waited 12-18 hours. The bottles are good enough to reuse, which is nice with them having the color coded tips. The tips aren’t as fine as I’d like, but they’re good enough for the results I got.

Great for vbs class. Wash n dry inside out to prevent fading. Use cold water and rinse the first time before washing. The colors came out very pretty and vin. The bottles were a tad to use since they are fairly small. Take care when squeezing the bottle cuz they can come out at inconsistant speeds. I recommend they larger bottles for ease of use. Make sure you have extra tablecloths and gloves, protective poncho etc. to prevent staining your own clothes and work area. Follow the directions to prevent mistakes.
