A: The real army hats are fitted and so are this hats. Personally I prefer flexfit so that your hat doesn't get tight as your hair gets longer.

**Q: My friend asked me if this was low, medium or high profile hat. I'm not sure.  Can you someone tell me?**
A: High profile. There is enough depth to have it ride just above your ears and eyebrows.

This hat runs a tiny bit on the small side but fit decently enough. Rides a little higher than I might prefer as well. All in all it's better than average and I feel it earned it's 4 stars. Hope this helps with your decision. Justin
