**Q: As a two piece socket - what is the maximum thicknesses that this socket is designed for?**
A: the ones i mounted are in 1/16 material , i don't know the exact maximum thickness but i would think at least 3/16

**Q: Does this fixture come with 2 attached wires for connecting to the 2 ceiling wires at the light's location?**
A: The leads are attached to the socket (as seen in the picture).  You will tie these in to the two wires (matching color for color) that are coming out of the electrical box.

**Q: What diameter hole does this socket fit? I have a lamp body with a 1 1/4" hole will this work?**
A: I do not have one of these readily available to measure it but I think it requires a slightly larger hole opening than 1 1/4 inches.  It could be closer to 1 1/2 inch opening requirement.

**Q: One fixture wire broke off at the copper rivet.  Can I attach the now disconnected ceiling light wire to that rivet with a screw?**
A: Yes, if the screw does not interfere with something on the other side of the rivet and the screw will hold the wire tightly against the rivet.

I get these once or twice a year when I'm re-wiring an antique light. So far, they have worked great. Excellent fit and no problems working. I do wish they were a little cheaper, I'd keep several on hand instead of buying them when I need them.
