This is a fantastic lock and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. It feels very secure and reliable, exactly what I was looking for. The instructions were really clear and easy to follow – I usually struggle with DIY, but I managed to fit this on my bin without any problems at all. The best part is that it didn’t require any tools, which made the whole process quick and stress-free. The lock itself is really sturdy and gives me full confidence that it will keep the bin closed and safe. This is the second of these I've purchased. The first became rusted and unusable after two years which considering the wet conditions of Devon seems reasonable. They have improved the quality this time around. Four stars because it did wear out.

These really are effective. We're a waste management company and whilst 1100l Euro bins are supplied with locks, 240l and 360l are not and the options aren't good. When you have business waste bins which are out of plain site, anyone passing will dump anything in. Not with these locks fitted and it literally takes less than a minute to install. Get with a coded lock so you can give the code to your waste collector. BRILLIANT Invention

Have used this for a number of weeks now. The item itself seems quite sturdy, and it does the job of keeping the bin locked. It looses a couple of stars as the lock didn't work from day one and got stuck. Despite it saying that the item is made in the UK with the instructions that came with it, the lock was a cheap Chinese one. When I evenutally got it off the bin I had to replace with a proper Yale lock. It looses another star as the thing itself is quite fidly to use, having to take the whole contraption on and off again everytime you want to open the bin lid. And it can be a bit time consuming lining up the metal and lock etc.
