The cover for the door closer came broken, however, after letting Fortstrong know about the issue they were quick to help me out. Great product and even better customer service.

The door closer itself works well and is relatively easy to install. The design is simple and functional, and I appreciate that the closing force can be adjusted, which was one of the main reasons I chose this model. I purchased it on sale, and at that price, I do think it offered good value for a new product, not arriving damaged. However, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Whoever decided to pack the door closer into such a tight box clearly didn’t consider the need for protective materials like foam or styrofoam. As a result, the plastic cover arrived damaged. While this damage doesn’t affect the performance of the door closer, it’s disappointing to receive something in less-than-new condition—especially when it's presented as a brand-new item. I contacted the seller and provided a photo of the damage, hoping they could simply send me a replacement cover. Unfortunately, they refused to help and told me to return the entire product to Amazon and reorder it. I explained that doing so would cause me to lose the sale price, but they showed no interest in resolving the issue. Overall, while the product functions as expected, the poor packaging and lack of customer support are major downsides. If you do decide to buy this, be aware that you might not receive it in perfect condition—and if something’s wrong, you may be on your own as the seller did not show any interest in resolving the issue.

Very happy with this product. First it arrived when it was expected too; it took two days. Everything was packaged nicely and nothing came in damaged. The material is super heavy duty and was made to last. Secondly, It took about an hour to install and was was pretty simple. Thirdly, it works like a charm. We installed this on a main door that is used frequently and it works how it should. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone. This is a most buy!

I was concerned since we had tried several supposed commercial door openers in the past. This one did the job. Honestly the installation instructions could be a little clearer. We had installed on the back side of the opening like the previous one and wound up having to move it to the inside but after that it works great. Our door is a solid core 36" x 6'-8" door. This opener is solidly built and does the trick.

Sprung an oil leak after three days of use!! Went in the garbage!!

This product worked great. Exactly what we needed. Our door kept getting slammed shut by the wind and scaring our customers when they entered our store. This slows the door down on the open and as it closes. Even with it being windy, the stopper works well, not slamming the door anymore

I really needed a strong door closer because I have commercial steel doors and I wanted to find something better than Home Depot or Lowe’s keeps in store and was quite disappointed with this one because it wasn’t really any better than theirs. I work near the beach and the wind changes direction and some days doors never close and others they slam very hard depending on wind direction and speed.
