Wonderful product that really helps, we WILL buy again, and, WILL be a staple for our Cats!
I wish I hadn't lost my tube of this, I am ordering MORE! Our kitten had a sudden skin problem, losing fur, around her eye and under her chin, and, her ears were affected, and, her one paw. I read that it could be 'Feline Demodectic mange (caused by Demodex cati or Demode x gator) as this seems to be something that can happen with some Kittens, and, runs in families. We were waiting for our regular Vet that was booked up during the holidays. I tried another treatment that was supposed to be useful, 'Sulfur', and, first found some of that at a store in the form of a hair treatment for humans, as a cream, and, it really helped, so I knew that was progress. Sulfur can be found in dandruff treatments. Next I ordered a Sulfur for animal treatment from Amazon that was stronger, and, worked even better. This all was helping but I still had to be concerned with the Kittens Autoimmune system, and, so I read about how helpful Duralactin Feline L-Lysine could be and very safe. In between time, the Vet's Office confirmed both treatments as safe. The kitten got much better quickly, and, by the time of the Vet appointment is was nearly healed. The Vet assured us it wasn't Mange though, but ringworm, and, the Sulfur and Lysine were still the treatments she would have used for that. Sparkles didn't require anything else, and got a lot better. The Lysine was recommended to continue for a while, and, it would never hurt our other Cat Horsey either! Both Cats are healthy months later. This tube of Duralactin Feline L-Lysine, 32.5mL ...has so much in it, you just dial the small amount you want, and, we used only about .5 mil for the kitten and bigger cat, in their food, and, the dial locks in place, so you can squeeze all you want out, without emptying the rest of the tube, I think it would last normally a good six months, if you wanted to use it daily just for regular feline maintenance health. The las photo is Sparkles Healthy afterwards, in fact, that bit in her eye in last picture, is not the same thing, just very end of healing, she is completely clear now!

A Blessing is a Blessing!!!
When a product is a blessing, it is a blessing - and this, if you have cats susceptible to respiratory issues, is a true blessing! One of my Five (5) "Babies", Glenn, when I adopted him going on 2 years ago, was near-death with Pneumonia (3 weeks of IV fluids, force feeding, 3 antibiotics and Lysine powder!). Luckily, he survived, but he has an immunity issue that makes him he extremely prone to respiratory infections. I used the prescribed Lysine powder for the first 6 months after he got better and decided to stop using it because he was starting to get "persnickety" about eating his food with it mixed in. Within TWO weeks, he was sick again, sneezing and wheezing. I went back to the powder, but soon had to dissolve it in water and syringe-inject it into his mouth at every meal. NOT FUN! Glenn was beginning to hate me and being strongly against long-term antibiotic use and resistance, I was fearing that I was going to have a cat who either hated me or I had to fight every single day. About 6 months ago, after stopping forcing the dissolved powder into his mouth (my arms can take only so many scratches!), he was sick again. I decided to do some research and found Duralactin. Reading up on it, I kept seeing reviews stating that cats love the taste and having Lysine assist in his recovery every single time since his adoption, WITHOUT antibiotics, I decided to try it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING I EVER COULD HAVE DONE! At night, when I do my bedtime routine, Glenn comes running into the bathroom and bugs me until I dial him a dose. I put it down towards him and he "paws" the injector to his mouth and all I have to do is shoot it in! See the picture!!! He thinks it is a treat! Since purchasing, he has not been sick again. Without the fighting him to take the Lysine, my mind is a lot more at ease. Per my Vet, the Lysine boosts his immunity and keeps him healthy, so as long as this is made, I will purchase it. Although, it is getting a little expensive for me . . .because his brother, Buggsie, now wants it everyday, too!!!!!!!!! They really do think it is a treat!!!!! *smiling*.

Great product if they'd fill the tube like its suppose to be
Was purchased for my sisters cat a lot of the tubes weren't completely full you had to turn the dial too far before anything would come out. It would have been a great purchase had the tubes been full and lasted like they were suppose too. What little was in there actually helped NyKyra (cat) hopefully by now they started filling the tubes cause we decided to go to another brand that lasted the amount of time it was suppose.

My cat loves it, and looks forward to it- from the first dose, I could tell he felt better- very easy to give in measured doses
One of my kitties had got really sick, so I got this to help with nutritional support. It's a big intimidating looking syringe but it's easy to work, there's a ring on it that unscrews that keeps you from pushing the plunger in too far. It makes it very easy to get a dose out. My sick boy wouldn't eat for a while, and he's still acting finicky, but he likes this a lot and he will lick it right off the syringe. It's to be given twice a day, either with food or directly as paste. Even after the first dose he started acting like he felt much better. It says to watch them for diarrhea but he's not had any side effects thus far. If he does, I'll update the review. So far his litter box activities have been 'normal.' He seems to like the taste a whole lot and acts like it is a treat. It couldn't be easier. It works better than the lysine treats that I've been using.

This works well just difficult for my cat to take - I mix it with a bit of soft food and have to hold his mouth open to get it into him - he does not vomit and does not seem to mind once we are done. The date on the tube is NOT a best before date, it is a DOM Date Of Manufacturing.

I have tried many different forms and bands of lysine, this is the most consistent and accurate one. My 16 years old exotic short hair cat has very poor immunity. After taking this, her appetite comes back, her running nose gets better. One of my cat hates it but she loves it very much.

Product is almost 1 year expired. Colour is supposed to be a light brown and it looks like dark chocolate brown. Tried to give it to my cat and she vomited because the paste is too thick and off. Perhaps the unexpired version would help because she seemed to like the smell/taste at first. Beware of the expiry date! Mine expired 01/2020 and the current date is 11/2020
