Good Primer!!
As the home classic car hobbyist I wouldn't use anything else. This is a 2k epoxy primer for bare (clean) metal. I will never use regular rattle can primer again (for bare metal), The final black coat in the pictures is the same brand in Hot Rod Satin Black. Also a 2K product. It is expensive though (but worth it to get professional results) . This product is for the average Joe that doesn't have a compressor, paint guns, cleaning supplies, etc.

Great paint finish
This is great product. Get shop like finish, durable, hard like car paint. Need to apply in well ventilated place or wear a good respirator

Most durable and best adhesion of any spray can primer, ever.
I've been using this paint, along with their 2K Hot Rod Black paint on chrome grills and vehicle emblems for years. It is permanent! I do have issues with the consistency of the spray flow, however. Nice wide fan for sure, but it likes to stop and restart spraying at times. I've been able to work through it, just a hassle. You should also know that once you pop the activator, the paint is only good for a day or two.

Great product
It works, have nothing but great things to say about this product. Did not explode on me, left it out in 80 degree weather and dropped a few times. Got it on my fingers and it washed right off, sprayed out evenly. Just sprayed down some open rust spots on my truck, and water droplets were sitting on top of the primer after is rained. It really works for a great price, nothing else like it around. Also warning, it takes about 1-2 days before it can be sanded so be patient.

Goo Stuff
I needed to prime four 15" wheels so I bought two cans. One can was exactly enough. It sprays and covers very well. I sprayed the wheels the next day with single stage acrylic enamel and they turn our perfect. It is pricey but I am very pleased with this product and would buy it again after I use the second can I now have.

great for small jobs
This seems like a very tough primer and is very easy to use. Unlike many spray cans, this comes with a good nozzle that sprays a fan pattern. I recommend sanding bare metal to 320 grit before priming, but I think this primer would probably do OK if you only sand to 220 grit.

Soft, Slow, and Lacking Information
So let me be clear, I've used REAL epoxy primer in the past. The stuff that you mix a hardener with and have a pot life of an hour or two and it sets hard enough to be a pain to sand. I've sprayed gallons of it. No longer having access to a shop where I could use a spray gun meant that I am limited to rattle cans. I wanted a good strong base layer on a bumper I built that was all bare steel. 2k epoxy being my go-to base coat, I was happy to see these cans. After getting them, there is NO info on cure time, NO info on coat intervals, NO info on anything you need to properly paint a part. I sprayed the bumper and the few brackets I had and was really disappointed. the pot life in the can after mixing was something like 48 hours. I sprayed the parts and let them sit for 3 days and to my dismay, the primer was still not fully set. I let it go another 2 days and then sprayed some rustoleum over it. that set another week. i had set up a couple shackles on the bumper to stand vertical while it cured knowing the paint would stick and anticipating repainting. I was not expecting the primer to be softer than the paint... Great... Here we are, a couple months later. I added a CB radio antenna to the bumper. to get a good ground, I needed to scrape away the paint and primer under the mount. dead soft... the primer is probably softer than high build primer. Could it be not enough cure time? maybe, no info. Could it be an incompatible paint? again, no info. Could it be not mixed well enough? Could the batch be bad? no idea. But after dealing with this, I can say this with absolute certainty; I will never use it again. I disposed of 2 new, unused cans because of how terrible it was. Save your effort and time, just go get a can of 1k primer, and follow the directions. The result would have been better in my project and I regret buying this junk. I now not only need to repaint the parts to get a good coating on them, I also have to strip them now. Being back at step 1 would be progress.

Great primer. Sprays well and good coverage. After activated was still able to spray remaining contents after 4 days stored at 68 F . The mixing button on bottom requires quite a bit of force to activate, but you can hear it when it releases. Great for small jobs, will buy again.

Product finally arrived as promised! Thanks Amazon.....The can of 2k primer in the nick of time for a project planned months ago..The only reason it isn't rated higher is because of the delay ,and the lack of any packaging material around the can in the 10 by 22 inch box resulted in the can bouncing around and discharging it's contents into the box. So one star for making it to my back doorstep .....
