Katana Mini Guitar Amplifier (Black, 94609)

Very clean sound. Best for practice and jamming. Only drawback is the battery drains faster and it doesn't come with an adopter.

I am a hobbyist and yet I keep feeling I was not good enough to pursue guitarist for a long time. Then I bought Boss Katana Mini and I must say my life changed! I understood that it was the crappy amp thwt I had earlier that dented my confidence till now! It is an absolute peach. It is all you would expect from Japan (made in Vietnam, but Japanese sound technology). It is simple, beautiful, powerful for its size, perfect in every which way it is supposed to function. It is light, portable, and the delay feature and the 3 modes make such good sounds. At full gain and full volume and in all three modes (crunch, clean, brown) there is zero buzzing. I understand it may not be for a performance, but for practising. It is expensive but worth every paise. Instead of going for a 5k amp and being frustrated, I would go for a 10k amp and being happy. My suggestion is - if you are looking for a practise amp, do not go for any other amp. Just buy this one.

Good quality. Quite loud. This comes with batteries. You need to order the adapter separately if you dont want to use batteries. 9v 2amps adapter with center negative polarity.

Value for money...very good for practice...Sound quality is also very good for its size....must buy if anyone is looking to have a small practice amp...any genres like metal/hard rock/alternative metal can be played with this amp..

Really good quality amplifier, only downside is buying the AC power adapter separately. Extremely light and very good build quality. Haven't used it in battery mode much yet, so can't say. Very Beginner friendly, the various effect knobs are very sensitive (as they should be). The Clean Patch, The Brown patch, and crunch patch go in increasing orders of volume automatically, so switching patches in the middle of a song/recording might be difficult.

Sound is quite good for its size.... I'll point out just a few extra things. 1. Comes with 6 AA batteries. They can last for testing. So better keep some spares ready. 2. There's a small red light at the top, will get dimmer and go off as the battery discharges. You may use it with headphones even after the light is off (due to battery discharge)... it will still last for a short while 3. Portability is it's strongest suite. Sound versatility and tone should not be compared with its bigger siblings Edit : it will eat up your batteries like crazy. Buy some rechargables or buy it's recommended power supply

Arriva un piccolo cartone.8 batterie incluse. Amp leggerissimo, aspetto solido e professionale. Non mi aspetto molto: invece la sorpresa: oltre ogni aspettativa, suono pulito e per avere 1 Watt incredibilmente forte, senza mai distorgere. É piccolo, bello, efficace! Consiglio ad ognuno!!

Auch wenn das Gehäuse "nur" aus Kunststoff ist sieht der Amp super aus. Bei der Größe anders aucht kaum machbar. Alles greift sich wertig an und funktioniert. Die Kopfhörerbuchse ist an der Rückseite nicht optimal angebracht aber bei der Größe wahrscheinlich nicht anders machbar. Auf der Oberseite wäre mor die Buchse lieber gewesen. Der Sound ist der größe entsprechend gut. Ich nutze den brown Sound und der kleine macht für den Heimgebrauch ordentlich krach. Mit Kopfhörern ist er mir zu leise. Netzteil leider nicht inklusive. Aber durch Batteriebetrieb flexibel für Unterwegs und wahrscheinlich hat jeder Musiker ein 9V Netzteil irgendwo rum liegen. Aber das sind nur meine Empfindungen. Darum gebe ich trotzdem volle Punktzahl.

Utmärkt tränings-förstärkare. Mycket fint rent ljud men bra overdrive om det är det du är ute efter. Plus för inbyggt eko.
