Used the 2.4amp USB and it worked great. The phone was screen on, navigating, and connected to my helmet Bluetooth for 8 hours+ a day and the battery stayed at 100% the entire time. Even more, I randomly had a charge cable fail one day and the phone dropped to 13% charge. I grabbed a new cable and this charger was able to recharge the phone back to 100% in just an hour or two while doing all the things mentioned above. Color me impressed. Also, an important design element for motorcyclists, this unit is compact, sticking up only about a half inch from the 13v port, the USB ports have a snug fit (no cords wiggling free as you ride), and the plug itself fits very snuggly into the 12v port.
