Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, High Performance Thermal Paste for Cooling All Processors, Graphics Cards and Heat Sinks in Computers and Consoles -1.0 Gram

I know a lot of people online claim that Duranaut is the better option, but trust me—real-world experience tells a totally different story. If you are repasting a laptop, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is the clear winner. In fact, if you take the time to apply it correctly, you can sometimes get temperature drops and performance that rival liquid metal. The secret is entirely in the application method: you must manually spread a very thin, even layer that completely covers the entire surface of both the CPU and GPU dies. Don't just do the "pea-size" drop and rely on mounting pressure. Take your time, apply that thin layer edge-to-edge so there are no bare spots, and you'll see incredible thermal improvements. Highly recommended for any gaming laptop!

Edit: after few days the temps got high again, I've applied the paste multiple times, but it doesn't work, I've requested for replacement but no replacement nas been done and the false replacement claims are being made, idk how I used to get 90-95 degree Celsius on my CPU when playing last of Us part 1 on my hp pavilion gaming laptop, after using some cheap thermal paste, I realized it's no use, the temps were exactly the same, so I've decided to get this since I've seen a yt short saying this is the popular thermal paste and decided to buy this My temps went from 90-95 before to 80-87 Degree Celsius while gaming (after applying this thermal paste) the only problem is that it's a little overpriced for it's quantity I had to apply the thermal paste twice because I messed up the first time, but quantity was already 50% completed lol I think we can use this twice or three times with the given quantity (Keep in mind I'm on a laptop, which requires less quantity than Desktop) Things to consider * Before removing the heat sink of the laptop, disconnect the battery * Take a picture of where the thermal pastes are applied, so that you can apply at the same places after cleaning the old one * Use a clean lint free cloth to clean the old thermal paste and also use isopropyl alcohol on the cloth and rub off the old paste * You can also use low percentage of isopropyl alcohol but will have to wait for it to dry off (I used 70% one, and no problems occurred) * Use the drop method, where you apply peanut sized drop on the CPU and GPU and you place the heatsink on top of it, with a straight angle, it will spread itself evenly if kept right Highly recommend this paste as it's one time solution, and I've heard we don't need to change the paste for another 2 years, The only thing is the quantity they send you is soo tiny amount lol

Quality is good and cooling okay

The temps have drastically improved; it's a great thermal paste and definitely recommended. But the quantity is a bit too low; I got 1 gram. Recommend gettinga higher quantity. its compatable with high performing pc and desktops.

I was having trouble with my 5 Years old laptop. CPU & GPU temperature was rising to 80 - 85 C within a few min and with hardly any load, and while gaming 100 C in just a few min. Fan running at 100 % Also was of no help. Thermal throttling, FPS Drop, Inconsistent performance, etc. was very common. I decided to replace the thermal paste, as Heatsink and Fan were already cleaned and the thermal paste was replaced a couple of years back. Now the big task was to decide on the Thermal Paste. Arctic Silver MX4, Deep Cool Z3, Cooler Master Master Gel PRO, and Deep Cool G15 were a few products as an option along with Grizzly Kryonaut. Quantity was only 1 Gm. all other pastes were available at least 1.5 Gm or more. Due to the low quantity, the effective price was very high. Few even mentioned that it's very little and insufficient for the job. I was sure that thermal paste is required just to fill the surface gap and just a thin layer. Hence decided to take a chance and ordered Grizzly Kryonaut. Product delivered very next day. First I wanted to make sure it was a genuine product, hence straightaway headed to the manufacturer's website and verified the code. Bingo! It's verified as a genuine product. Now the actual task of applying the fresh paste. Removed the Heatsink, surprisingly the old paste was not dry, it was very much greasy, So I was not expecting a huge difference with the new fresh paste. Carefully removed all the old paste from the CPU, GPU & Heatsink. and applied just enough on the CPU & GPU (just to form a thin layer) Installed the heating. I will use the remaining paste on Mac. I am sure the 1 Gm quantity is more than enough at least for two laptops. Now the results. Before replacing the thermal paste I had run a Cinebench test so I ran the Cinebench test after replacing the thermal paste. Below are the results. Test Before After Multi-Core Points 3238 4014 Single-Core Points 838 864 M P Ratio 3.87x 4.75x Max Temperature 78 C 58 C (After running a few games for a couple of hrs.) With the old paste and fan running at 100% Hardware Info was showing CPU Temp 100 C with just 5-10 min of gaming and there was Core Thermal Throttling. With Grizzly Paste Maximum temperature is never over 80 C even after a couple of hours of gameplay and the Fan running at normal speed. And of course No Thermal Throttling. The results are unbelievable. I wouldn't have trusted this if I had not done it myself. Application is also very important. So apply just enough not too much or not too less, it should be just enough. Go for it! Highly recommended.

Fair quality thermal paste. Paste is very good at spreading evenly with X, dot patterns after placing cooler. Brought down my CPU temp by ~8degrees. But quantity is very less compared to other available options at this price.Could have been a little more.

I replaced the thermal paste in my 3+ year old laptop, which would usually run at about 65*c idle and 90+ when doing gaming, after replacement, laptop runs 45-50*c idle, and 65-70*c in light games, but never more than 75-80, so even if your laptop's thermals are bad, even in the worst case scenario it won't cross 80-85* the performance of the laptop also increases because laptop doesnt thermal throttle anymore the spatula that comes with the thermal paste also helps with application of the thermal paste and making sure that neither too much nor too little quantity is applied on the cpu and gpu, the consistency of the thermal paste is pretty thick quantity is lower than other thermal pastes which will only last you for 1 use (maybe some will still be left after 1 use) but its not a problem since one doesnt really buy these to save for another use this doesnt conduct electricity so dont worry about it spilling on other components of the laptops these things last pretty long compared to thermal pastes that laptops usually come with so dont worry about buying another thermal paste for atleast 2-5 years

Used it to re-paste on a 7 year old gaming laptop. The i5-8300H would reach 96-98° within 5 minutes of certain games. Post re-paste, the temps max out at 85-88° post 1 hour of gaming. Also noticed that in idle, temperature drop is much quicker now. Seems to do the job well. Provided applicator was useful and verification code checked out as genuine product.
