⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful and convenient for tackling a large hedge! The Einhell Cordless Hedge Trimmer has been a game changer for me. I was struggling to get a gardener to come out to tackle our 15 m by 2 m hedge, so I decided to invest in a good-quality cordless trimmer and this one handled the job exceptionally well. The 18V battery provides solid power throughout the trim, and it cut through thick and overgrown branches without any fuss. It’s lightweight and well-balanced, which made it comfortable to use for an extended period, and the cordless design meant I could move freely along the length of the hedge without worrying about trailing cables or extension leads. The blade length is generous, allowing large swathes of the hedge to be trimmed in fewer passes, saving a lot of time. Setup was straightforward, and the safety features like the dual-switch operation give peace of mind during use. After finishing, I was impressed with how tidy and professional the hedge looked. The trimmer feels sturdy and well-made, and the battery system is compatible with other Einhell Power X-Change tools, which is a bonus if you already have other tools in the range. Overall, this trimmer exceeded my expectations. Very good shears. Very sharp, light weight. They don't come with a battery, I see people complaining about it, but it dies tell you 'no battery'. I've been using my 4amp battery, done nearly all my hedges and battery still going. Didn't realise how sharp they was, may have cut my hedge to low. Easy to use and blade is a good length to do the top off the hedge

I recently purchased this hedge strimmer, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Despite choosing the longer blade, it is still fairly light weight therefore reducing strain during extended use. There is a bit of assembly required, specifically for the handle, but it’s a straightforward process. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go within minutes. The blade is impressively sharp, which was a significant advantage when dealing with our tough, overgrown hedges. The cutting was smooth and efficient, saving me a lot of time and effort. I had previously used manual shears, so strimmer saved me so much time. For anyone who doesn’t want to spend all day cutting hedges by hand, this is the perfect solution. It turns what used to be a long, laborious chore into a quick and satisfying task. I didn’t buy a battery, as we had one from another Einhell appliance, making this even more of a valuable addition to our garden tool collection. Highly recommended!

We have various worktools by einhell x-change range, so when it came to looking for powered gardening tools for our garden I thought I'd check out the range, and I wasn't disappointed! Being cordless means it's easier to move around where we need to to work and not restricted on cable length, it also means it's quite lightweight. Batteries are not included as standard, but if you already have some of the x-change range, you will already have batteries, or they can be purchased additionally. It's a good length blade that certainly had no issues with my bushes. Should it become blunt, replacement blades can be purchased separately however, with luck, they won't be needed anytime soon!

Early days yet, but I am pleased with this 18/55 cordless hedge trimmer by Einhell. I chose this longer (55cm) blade to provide the optimum reach and cutting area. It cuts well with an Einhell 4.0AHr Gen 2 (compact) battery. It is much more convenient and faster to manage large areas of hedging or individual shrubs (compared to hand shears or corded trimmers). I like the two handed safety operation, and the rotating handle which provides optimum ergonomic operation when carrying out vertical trimming. Also like the black plastic blade guard, which is a nice snug fit. One star deducted for the difficulty when installing the small transparent plastic hand guard. Update 1: Used this trimmer to shape six more shrubs, it did a good job. Far more effective than hand clippers. The rotating handle provided more comfort for vertical trimming. I used a 4.0AHr battery, it still had two (out of three) lights on the charge indicator. This trimmer is going to be invaluable for keeping hedges/shrubs in good order.

Really pleased with this. Seems solidly made, the blades are good and sharp, and it's reasonably light and the battery lasts a couple of hours. Makes quick work of my hedges, going through anything up to 80mm thick with ease. Wish I'd got one years ago!

Does just what you need it to do and almost effortlessly. Great to have to use two hands, for safety. Another X-Change tool in my collection - all using the same batteries! Very, very happy with the power and performance. Not too noisy and a well balanced tool. Lighter weight than expected (big bonus points!) Very happy either the results, so far. I’m not a great gardener, but this makes things much easier. Size is just what you need, making it highly versatile. Very happy and recommended!

Agréablement surpris par la qualité de ce taille haie. Le montage est aisé en suivant la notice. Coupes franches, lames apparemment de bonne qualité, j'ai déjà le souffleur de feuilles de cette marque et la batterie est bien compatible. Quel plaisir de ne pas avoir de fil qui fini toujours coupé. Je ne peux pas jugé de la durée de la batterie n'ayant que 15m de haies. Seul bémol la protection plastique de la lame est difficile à enlever. Il ne faut pas hésiter à tirer un coup sec, et ainsi elle s'enlève.

Je possède déjà quatre autres appareils Einhell dont je suis satisfait, mais celui-ci sort du lot : léger, peu bruyant, facile à manier, d'une efficacité parfaite... la perfection ! A choisir sans hésitation.
