Dexter tiger knife has a razor, sharp serrated blade. I own at least six of these knives. I used to run a restaurant and use them for many years to cut bread, meat, vegetables, etc. It is my only go to knife here at the house and I love it. I only bought a new one as my others were from when I ran the restaurant and that was more than 15 years ago and I still use those knives. I highly recommend this knife as it has many uses. I have also given this knife as a gift to my children and to some of my friends. The tiger knife will always remain my go to knife in the kitchen.

Best bait knives for partially frozen salmon, squid, sardines, etc. They stay sharp for a long time too without any additional care.

I use it for insulation works great.

Would be 5 stars if it included or had option for a blade cover. But knife itself is great. Sharp and sturdy. blade is heavy enough for tougher cutting jobs (not cutting bricks or anything) but cutting up chickens, splitting breast bone, etc. Use for trimming brisket also, but found I like the narrow blade model for that better. USA Made, and can't go wrong w/ a brand of knife called 'Dexter'
