We are using it after my husband's knee surgery to promote blood flow and reduce the chance of blood clots. The heavy box where the inflator mechanism is located makes it nearly impossible to wear them while doing any PT activities which are frequent after a hip replacement. It is difficult to get them around your legs properly and they loosen constantly. Now one of the boxes is coming loose from the fabric, which is an extremely flimsy flannel type, possibly a microfiber. Had a double knee replacement so I used for several months daily. I currently use them when traveling by car or plane. They are amazing. I have not had any issues with Velcro. The engine noise on the plane drowns out the noise of cuffs. I was given these after surgery by surgeon, so I didn’t have to pay for them. I will definitely replace them when they fail.
