Buy The Day The Crayons Came Home by Daywalt, Drew, Jeffers, Oliver (ISBN: 9780008124434) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Another children's classic from Oliver Jeffers! - My 6 year old son's favourite book is 'The Day The Crayon's Quit' - well it was! Tonight we surprised him with the sequel (I pre-ordered this months ago and it's been really hard not to tell him, as it's something he'd been wishing for since the first book) the look on his face was priceless! Every page made us laugh out loud. Well worth the wait! If you're new to Oliver Jeffers or not, this book comes highly recommended, but buy the prequel too. From 'Lost and Found', 'Up and Down', 'The Way Back Home', 'How To Catch A Star', 'The Incredible Book Eating Boy', 'Stuck' and 'The Heart In A Bottle' to name but a few, 'The Day The Crayon's Came Home' is another children's classic that is an absolute joy to read to your child. Oliver Jeffers is pure genius! Review: Highly entertaining book that both young and old will love - Love this book. Its an excellent follow up to The Day the Crayons Quit. Bought it for my 4 year old and its a book he continually asks to be read. Fantastic illustrations (as to be expected with Mr Jeffers), great pace and really funny prose. Lots of little details to spark little imaginations. Even the parents will love this one!

Already a firm favourite
Absolutely fabulous sequel to The day the crayons quit. Just as hilarious for myself reading the book as it is for the child. I personally bought the first book as a gift several times over and I can see myself doing the same for this one. The only thing that I'd say is that there is supposed to be a glow in the dark page but I can never seem to get it to glow no matter how long I leave it open for. However that isn't enough to deter me from buying this as a gift in the future.

Lovely sequel
Lovely book about all the lost crayons. Not as charming as the first book The day the Crayons Quit but still liked. Also longer but with some new characters and we like glow in the dark crayon page as it’s textured.

Thoroughly enjoyable, recommend strongly
We absolutely loved this book. It's a follow on from 'The day the crayons quit'. Not necessary to read first but a delightful starting point. I particularly like pea green who renamed himself Escaban. The world travels of Neon Red provided a marvellous educational opportunity too. My child is five. I think it's fair to say these books could span a lot of ages. I laughed while reading this. The neon crayon writes in neon too which is a lovely touch.

Very funny
Bought this and another "Crayon" book for my 7 year old grandaughter. She is a fluent reader and wanted to read it to her mother. They both thoroughly enjoyed it and found it really funny.

Fabulous follow up story
Loved this follow up to The Day The Crayons Quit. Bought it for Christmas, for my 5 year old grandson who played the Yellow Crayon in a drama recently. Read it to him on Christmas Day and he loved it too. I actually think it's even better than the first book. Highly recommend it.
