One of the provided studs is threaded 1/4-20 on one end and 3/8-16 on the other. The other provided stud has the clamp mounted on it with two cap screws that go through the clamp handle. The angle joint is made with squared splines which are very slip resistant. If you unscrew the joint screw 1 turn, then push in on the knob you can easily adjust the joint angle. The spring clamp also be mounted on a tripod or clamped to a shelf.I will be using this to mount flashes and to hold collapsible backgrounds on light stands.The parts appear to be well made. 2 of these for $23 is a ridiculous bargain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Been looking for something like this a long time. *by S***S on February 20, 2021* I needed something to clip a magnifier onto my mini tripod for up close nature studies.
