Pro Elec PEL00901 4-Gang Plastic E MPty Cable Reel Dru m, 50 m

My heavy duty cable has served me for many years until the plastic plug in sockets gave up the ghost. I hate throwing stuff away because of one fault so this was perfect, easy to connect and works a treat

So far this is doing what it was bought for. I had a 50mtr extension cable that was been used outdoors for cleaning the car, power tools, hedge cutting etc. The old reel was in bits, and was a real pain to tidy up after use. I thought I'd give blank reel a go, plus most of the existing reviews were positive. It was very straightforward transferring my old cable on to the new reel. If your confident wiring a plug, wiring this won't cause you too many issues. So far its exactly what I expected for the price point and it's doing the job it was intended for. Recommended.

good quality &value.

Brilliant

Excellent value product robust enough for 50 meters

Its cheap for a reason, dont expect a quality contact block, I'd be cautious putting much through any of the 4 sockets. Bought for Christmas lights, works well for that.

Needed to replace an old broken reel and reuse the cable. This one looked OK and reasonable price. Not the most robust, but looks good enough for domestic use if you don't throw it about. A bit fiddly to wire and as others have said, ' some instructions would help if you're not too confident with 'electrics' . Took 50m of cable comfortably. Fine so far.

Pretty solid, easy to wire, good purchase
