My goal has been to find LEDs that can fully replace halogen Par20s in overhead fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. They have performed well for over a year or 8 months, depending on when I bought them, and with 450 lumens were brighter than the replacements. Some did have a flicker when first installed, but it has not been too noticeable. They still were not bright enough, and did not dim well in the 3 sockets on a dimmer, so I searched for a replacement. Just ordered the Feit PAR20/LEDG5 LED Dimmable PAR20 Reflector GEN5 (warm white) (450 lumens (in picture on Amazon site) or 465 lumens (on the packaging received)) and Feit PAR20/5K/LEDG5 LED Dimmable PAR20 5K Reflector GEN5 (bright 5k white) (500 lumens) which are much brighter and work much better on a dimmer, for about the same price. The light for the Feit brand (9.5 watts versus) is much stronger, even more than the 50 lumens difference, and the Feit brand lights seem to have a broader beam spread. Make sure you try out different types, but I think brighter is better and over time we have decided that bright white is better than warm white, regardless of the brand. My wife and I will be getting the Feits to replace the Eco-lites because of the big difference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! *by V***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2013* Great Cool LED Bulbs at about 1/3 the cost of home improvement or hardware stores. And free shipping if you are a prime member. It is a no brainer. I replaced my halogens with this and I am so glad. The halogens took about 2 hours to cool down to a reasonable handling temp when I changed them out. The halogens would constantly trip the thermal over temp circuit in the recessed lighting fixtures in my house. Dangerous. CFLs are also fairly expensive and take a while to turn on, and in general, I just think they suck. LED is the way to go. Now, we are cool and always have light at half the energy cost. Amazon makes LED lighting affordable and I am so glad I switched. Now it is your turn. You will be glad you did. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement for halogen floods *by P***X on Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2013* These are nicely bright floods that use just a fraction of the electricity of halogens.
