This blind-spot camera kit works pretty well for the price. The display is clear enough to use during the day and the camera has a wide field of view that helps cover the side of the car where mirrors usually miss. The lens rotates, which makes it easier to aim depending on where you mount it. Installation is fairly simple if you’re used to basic 12V car accessories, and the wiring is long enough for most vehicles. The build quality isn’t premium, but it feels solid and lightweight. Night visibility is decent as long as there’s some light from the surroundings or headlights. Overall, it’s a helpful add-on for improving visibility and gives good value for what it costs.

I ordered this for my 17 year-old son who is learning to drive. He has monocular vision…he can’t see out of both eyes at the same time, though he can switch which eye he is using to his non-dominant eye if he really wants to. I ordered this with him in mind, not really knowing if it would drastically help, or create another distraction for a new driver. It is easy to set up and it does work! After talking to his father, I’m not sure we are going to set it up on his car when my son is driving on his own. He needs to test it farther. Right now, his dad is doing all of the driving instruction with my son, and he’s a car guy, so I’m trusting his advice to be cautious with an aftermarket upgrade like this for a brand new driver. I think this would be better for an experienced driver to use—someone who is already very comfortable with the road and looking to improve their driving experience. But as far as the concept and quality of this product it’s what I expected and worth it for the right person. The camera quality is good and it seems durable. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
