My son keeps playing with the original that came with the headset and it got destroyed. I looked at the description and the dimensions and took a chance (hoping they will fit when we got it). The replacement piece is great. It is a tight fit so it doesn't fall off easy (the original one kept falling off) and it reduces a lot of background noise. My son's friends can't even hear him breathe like the original one. The replacement is also good quality. It's has lots of material as compared to the original one that we had. I might even decide to put it on other computer/gaming headsets that did not originally come with one. Review: Good quality works well - I am using this on my Jabra Engage 65. It fits well and I can push the boom mute button through the foam. I was originally given a foam mic sock from someone, which was a lower quality foam.
