Will a bass clarinet reed fit in this case?

Absolutely! Bass clarinet and tenor reeds are virtually the same size. I actually have accidently used one in place of a tenor reed. Whoops.

What type of reeds will work for alto and tenor? Or can any reed can be put in there?

Any traditional Reed will fit in here. I don't know about synthetic reeds but from what I understand, these reeds are made to the same dimensions. As you fit tenor reeds in each slot after you play, you'll find that it's harder to fit them in. That's because cane will have expanded during your session. Simply fit it in as best as you can. Make sure you buy the correct case for the correct Reed (baritone reeds will probably not for here)

Surely so. You may have to soflty jam the clarinet reeds in so that they're secure. I can confirm that the tenor reeds for perfectly so this case may be the one for you. Hope this helps.
