It has the weight so it is very stable and plenty of power to chew though wood. I agree with the review that said dust collection is a 2, but would be easy to modify if so inclined. I did purchase a 3 inch after market sanding spindle and have yet to fabricate a table insert for it but since the spindle takes up most of the hole it is not really necessary unless you are sanding very narrow stock. It is a compact unit with BIG features. It does sound from the reviews that it maybe a little hit and miss with the quality.
