Works on grass, side effects may not be worth it
A couple things.. I ordered two bags, applied one back over my front and back yard. Soon after application, I started having a bit of foul smell, followed by lot of flies. I assumed it was the microbial activity. Grass turned green. Then there was the second bag in my garage. I started seeing small mites everywhere inside the garage and even inside my house. I traced it back to the bag, which I dumped it way into a woods nearby. They are gone but it was a disastrous a few months dealing with the mites. Be aware.

Results not worth the price
From a company like The Andersons, there is a level of “expectations” that are expected, this product for the price left me disappointed in my lawn, and angry I spent so much on a product that produced such little to no results. The bag directions are vague at best, and I understand pounds/1,000, but there are no spreader suggestions, and to me the granules are to large for low cut turf, as my applications just sat on top of the lawn until my roller and reel chopped them up. I will not recommend, and honestly I wish I could have a refund.

Didn't work on my lawn
Been about a month since I applied this to my lawn. It didn't bring back my grass. So this is not a magical solution. I might of needed to do more to my lawn for this to work like aeration or adding another product to it.

Overpriced, mites, and did nothing for the lawn.
Did nothing for my lawn, and has created a bug infestation. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of mites.

Not happy
I bought two bags of this 7-1-2 lightly applied it to my 6-week old Bermuda sod. After three days (and lots of watering) I started noticing areas where the grass was dying. Fortunately the Bermuda has started to recover in those areas but I’m now scared to use the product. Sorry but I can’t recommend.

Inspect for bugs before setting in your garage.
Like others say. Be ready to call pest control. I thought the reviews where being a bit dramatic. But just happened to be having the same issue as others. Once delivered Do Not Take it into garage. Inspect it first.

Don't waist you money
Well, i had high hopes for this, since it was 'organic', but did nothing for my lawn in the Northeast. I noticed most of the positive reviews were from folks in the south with Bermuda grass, but did zero for me.

Waste of money
I bought 3 bags and applied to my lawn. After watering very well, I did not see any difference to my lawn.
