Took a few weeks to settle in and works flawlessly now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable replacement *by A***G on October 29, 2025* The top of my previous hose assembly cracked and I needed a replacement to salvage my Dyson. I took the chance after reading several reviews about the hose not fitting correctly. When new the hose is very tight and it's hard to push the aluminum extension wand into the bottom of the hose where it connects with the vacuum. I sprayed the wand lightly with WD-40 and then wiped away any excess, so dirt wouldn't catch in the hose and accumulate there. Once I did that I was able to work the wand down into the hose. I found that after I used the extension wand to clean with, I needed to repeat the WD-40 application.
