Really nice waterproofing with a gasket running all the way around the outside and a pressure relief valve on the front. The plastic is thick and durable - it doesn't flex when you press on it. Some of these low-cost cases use really thin plastic that feels cheap, but this is not the case here. Feels substantial and protective. It has 2 levered closures that pull the top down tight into the gasket. The lever action makes it easy to close even when the case is completely full - you get good mechanical advantage without having to fight with it. I did a test run replacing the pre-cut foam with some pick-and-pluck foam so it can be customized for other storage needs beyond just the drone. The original foam is held in with a modest amount of hot glue, so it's easy to peel out and replace without damaging the case interior. Good option if you want waterproof protection or plan to repurpose it for different equipment down the road.

This is a nice, sturdy little case. A lot better than the soft cases that come with the DJI fly more combos, much more secure and easier to put the pieces in. Instead of the mini 5 I am using it for a mini 3. The drone fits fine and the RC2 controller fits fine with the joysticks off. The problem is saying this is for the fly more combo. There is just barely enough room to pu the batteries under the controller - but nowhere to put the battery charger, cables, etc. So it's OK for a day trip if all your batteries are charged. But for travel you'll have to carry two cases which kind of kills this for me and I'll be looking for something else.
