Clever and fun book for toddlers

My 1&1/2 years old favourite bedtime read - every single night
Son loves this book, loves turning the pages & looking for the animals Edith the torch.. perfect for reading with the main light off just a night light as torch highlights the animal.. the torch is a little flimsy for toddlers so if the 3 of these types of books 2 have no torch attached anymore cause it ripped S toddler uses so much.

Nichts für uns
Das Buch ist sehr gut verarbeitet, die Illustrationen sind sehr schön. Die Kinder sollen ein Tier mit der "Taschenlampe" suchen. Die Taschenlampe ist aus Pappe und wird in die Seiten geschoben. Die Seiten sind teils aus verdunkelte Folie und die Tiere kommen zum Vorschein wenn die weiße Pappe unter die Folie ist. Ich finde aber die Fingerfertigkeit die gebraucht wird um die Taschenlampe rein zu schieben und ein Tier zu suchen besitzen die meisten Kinder unter 3 nicht, und mein 1 1/2 jährige war nicht damit zufrieden dass ich das für sie mache. Sie wollte es unbedingt selbst tun. Ich glaube aber für Kinder ab 3 ist die Geschichte zu langweilig. Mann sagt nur die Tiere gute Nacht mit ein kurzer Reim, meiner Tochter war nicht wirklich daran interessiert. Ich bin mir auch nicht sicher wie lange die Taschenlampe ganz bleibt. Aber vielleicht ist es wirklich gut für ein etwas älteres Kind.

Great series of books,
The idea is great, we have Goodnight lion and Goodnight frog book. The kid loves it which is important. The paper flashlight does get worn out but you could fix it with tape.
