**Q: What’s the diameter of the metal ring inside the shade? I’m trying to see if it would fit an antique lamp finial.**
A: 4-3/4” outside diameter, 4-1/8” inside diameter.

**Q: Will this shade work with those clip-on lampshade adapters? Thanks**
A: I do not see why not. It may be something you may have to just try to see if it works for your application.

**Q: Will this shade work without using the harp - i.e. for a vintage lamp with a single rod and screw on the top to attach a finial?**
A: The shade is made to use with a harp. However, your single rod with a finial would work as well. If your lamp uses two light bulbs, make sure your shade is big enough to give the lights room.
